RecommendedWonderful urgent care/emergency experience for the care of our adult dog. She is an established patient and received wonderful care for an unexpected event.
We have been using Carson Valley Vet for about 7 years now when we moved into the area. Everyone is absolutely great from the vets to the staff. The new Gardnerville and pharmacy are fantastic!
CVVH's new clinic is awesome. Plenty of space in the waiting area. The new medication counter is helpful & quick. And, the staff is warm, welcoming and informative. Plus, we are blessed to have the best vet & vet tech on the planet!
I love how friendly the staff is and how much the Drs love the animals. Our pups have always been cared for so well here. The wait times are a bit much, however I suppose issues out of our control come up. The long wait times won’t deter me from continuing to use CVVet.
Truly, the very best care in Northern Nevada. I drive an hour from Reno to Gardnerville for my animals. The new facility is state of the art. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient. As I sat waiting for my appointment, Cheryl took multiple calls and her warmth and empathy was evident in each interaction. Dr. Ross is amazing. He goes above and beyond in his care for animals. Dr. Nelson is equally amazing. I highly recommend Carson Valley Veterinarian Hospital. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
I have been using Carson Valley Vet Hospital for many years, coming from Washoe Valley because of the wonderful and considerate care they have given my animals. You guys are the greatest and I would recommend you to everyone.
I have been taking my pets Carson Valley Veterinary hospital since the 90’s. My recent visit was with my 1 year old border collie mix for her annual vet visit and vaccines. I noticed that my 3 year old cocker spaniel had a terrible sore on his neck and contacted Dr Ellen Bailey to see if I could bring him along to be seen with my other dog. She graciously said of course! She is a wonderful veterinarian and although we will miss Dr Mull we are happy with Dr Bailey and how caring, kind and efficient she is with the animals. T... read more

👍Friendly, welcoming staff, most of the vets are quite good, they listen and they suggest solutions without being pushy. A great place to take your animal for medical needs.
