My elderly lupus dog needed surgery as soon as possible so the infection wouldn’t spread / go into her blood stream. Our regular vet near us made surgery appointment for end of June (yikes, her appetite was already declining, high pain level & already having lupus makes her more high risk) Waiting was not a option for us!
