RecommendedI took my cat in for an emergency and the whole staff was super friendly from the minute I walked thru door! Then as I was trying to leave my truck broke down and one of the employees, Kara, came outside and helped me jump the car and then had her fiance check it out! Just shows how friendly they are and how they went above and beyond for me! Great services and amazing staff! I highly recommend them!
I will always recommend Carson Valley Vet. I had a purchased a puppy from a “breeder” in Sacramento and was not informed that my puppy had some serious issues. When we got home, we noticed she had a severe head tremor, a lazy eye, and severe aggression. Dr Talbot saw her for her puppy check up and had come to the conclusion she might of had a brain condition and were told to watch her. Dr. Erin Price takes such great care of our two pups and our cat. She takes the time to explain everything, including choices in care. And this place is incredibly reasonable price wise. I drive my babies down from Tahoe and it’s worth the drive

With out a doubt, this is the best Veterinary Hospital I've ever been to. We came up to Gardnerville to take care of my husband's older parents during COVID19 from the San Diego area and our older dogs had some issues while we've been here. Dr. Nick Mannan has been absolutely incredible, along with all the staff. I'm actually not looking forward to going home because I'm going to REALLY miss the staff at this facility. They are absolutely top notch!
Had to take my GSD to the Urgent Care on a Saturday! Dr. Timmerman and her assistants, along with young ladies up front were so nice and took such good care of my boy! Highly recommend them for your fur babies!

I love this vet! They have always been amazing under any circumstances. I have taken my fur babies here for our normal regular check ups and shots to emergency dog fights and surgery’s! They are always professional, amazing, and wonderful with my pets. My little pitty can be a pain, over protective of her momma and a talker, it has never been a problem with the staff.

I can’t say anything bad about carson valley vet hospital, Ive had two different Doxie emergencies in the past 6 months and both experiences have had wonderful outcomes. I can’t say thank u enough to CVVH for saving my Max when he had pneumonia and for helping my old man Chili get through his leg break. The doctors, the techs, and front desk staff have been nothing but kind and helpful through both of my emergency situations. Thank u! Thank u! Thank u!
This staff and building are AWESOME. So fantastic with how they approach patients, their sense of care, urgency and experience was better than I could have expected. Right off the bat from the first phone call to leaving my first appointment and the building it was a 10 experience. My last vet from home was great, and I didn't think I could find one that felt as good, this is BETTER.
