It became obvious something was seriously wrong with our husky mix on a Friday night. I was thrilled to find Carson Valley Vet Hospital open on weekends. I called first thing Saturday morning and was scheduled for later that day. Dr Sheets and the vet assistant (unfortunately forgot her name) were amazing. Our dog was seriously ill, quickly diagnosed and put on an aggressive treatment regimen. Dr. Mull is exemplary. He showed ultimate kindness and compassion for my 16 year old pup AND for myself. Always stressful taking a geriatric pet to the vet not knowing what might be wrong. My dog is typically terrified and shaking when we walk into a vet clinic and she was so calm with his sweet and soothing demeanor. On April 13 I brought my Marley in, was told by Dr. Shane Sheets that he had a tumor on his spleen, totally unexpected! Dr. Sheets did surgery but he had lost too much blood and didnt make it! I was totally devasted, had no idea anything was wrong with him. Thank you Dr. Sheets and Sierra M. For trying to save my baby. I felt so much love and compassion from Dr. Sheets! You were so caring and it really helped me a lot!

I had to bring my dog, Ginny, in because she ate about 2/3 of my debit card. They got us in right away and the team that saw her and treated her was absolutely delightful. She ended up being okay and we didn’t have to drive to Reno for emergency services. We are very grateful for the services we received!

I lost my dog Bella a few days ago to cancer. Dr. Nelson and his assistant showed immense compassion and empathy during and after a very sad and heartbreaking incident of putting Bella to sleep.

Our dog Diesel needed knee surgery and Dr Nelson and Tech Steven and his team took such good care of our baby. It's been almost a year later and Diesel is running around without any pain or arthritis. We are so grateful and would highly recommend their services. My parents have been taking their pets here since the 80s and are always pleased with the care they received. I will always trust that my furbabies are in good hands at Carson Valley Vetrenary Center
