After our disappointing visit on another location (on 290), we came to this location. The selection is much better and the sales people are wonderful! He help us and gave us good tips. My husband got the boots fit him well and stylish. He has a very difficult size to fit in boots and it was not an easy task to find one let alone the one that you like! But we got it here, thanks to the great sales guy!

This place is so busy during Rodeo season, but I got excellent customer service from the boot fitting department and a pair of nice western kicks to go. They were so many cowboys and cowgals that I had to choose my own cowboy hat without any assistance. Other than that, huge selection of western wear and good examples from the staff on how to dress properly for a rodeo.

My husband was in the area for business meetings this week and I forgot to pack his belt with his clothes. He calls me at 8:45 pm when he realized this. We live 5 hours from Houston and his meeting started at 8am the next morning. I looked for western wear stores close to his hotel and this one was the closest. Boot Scoot Boogie! This is my go to place for Rodeo wear, and pretty much anytime I need to buy my dad a present. I also like their online ordering system, easy peasy. Recently, my Yankee s/o needed a new pair of boots. We popped over to Cavender's for a look, and was immediately greeted by a nice woman who explained options, fit, look, prices, wear/tear, and difference in each we liked. All Cavender's have cowboy boots, but this one is the best store to visit. It has the largest selection for men and for women. The other stores seem to be limited on there women's selection. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of their selection. I never had boots before and I ignored getting a sales clerk to help me the first time but don't do that!!!! I bought my first pair of boots from this store this year. The store manager helped me and walked me through the process, he was very polite and wasn't pushy at all, he even took several pairs of boots off of my wide foot. I'm super happy to have stopped at his store and I would recommend everyone to but from there. I'll be back. :)

I stopped by here to pick up a pair of steel toed boots that I really liked online. They were easy to find and try on, and at the price it said it would be. I didn't get asked if I needed help, but considering I was wearing sweats since I had just come from working out, I'm guessing I didn't look like their typical customer. Lots of their accessories, clothing, and home decor are covered in crosses or other similar symbols, so if that isn't to your tastes, heads up. I love coming to Cavender's just for the amazing smell. The prices are decent and they have a wonderful selection of boots, apparel, and accessories.
