I went here willingly when I was 16- 3 years ago, just about. I was told straight up that I was allowed to phone my mother any time I wanted, that I would be treated fairly, and after a few days I could have socks instead of no shoes and cold feet. My mother was ALSO told this. My first night, I was not allowed a pad or a tampon despite being on my monthly time. I had to BLEED all over myself.
