Our experience buying a preowned precertified Hyundai Sonata at Hyundai of White Plains was outstanding! Salesman Jim Pelka was very knowledgeable and courteous in explaining the car's features. I had been driving a 16 year old car before I looked at the Hyundai Elantra and was very pleased with the new options that I did not have on my old car. Tony Finelli was also capable and nice and in general my experience with the dealership was a positive one.
Ed was really friendly and helpful. Unlike most dealers, I did not feel pressured and felt very comfortable. He will work with the price you are looking for. He helped me find the perfect car with a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend Ed to help you with your next purchase.
I had been searching for an automatic Hyundai Veloster at various other Hyundai dealerships. Hyundai of White Plains was the only dealership that had an automatic in the color that I was seeking. I was not intending to commit to a car when I visited the showroom. My mission was only to look and see what was available. Tomas Ramos, the salesman who approached me was very soft spoken and knowledgeable. More important...he was not PUSHY. If he were, as many car sales people are..he would have turned me off and away. All other staff members I came in contact with were pleasant as well. A good friendly atmosphere.
I never thought it was possible to have an honest interaction with a car dealership. I was so defensive and hostile, I am surprised that Jim did not take offense. Had a very good experience. It took a few weeks to be able to test drive an Elantra because there were none available to drive. But once we did we loved the car. Hector was very helpful and understanding as we took some time to decide whether to buy or lease. After that the sale was smooth and we picked up the car a few days later!
My experience with Hyundai of White Plains was excellent. They are helpful, sociable, and knowledgeable about their cars that they are selling. I would highly recommend this dealership.
