Outstanding start to finish. The best money I have ever spent for a meal, which in reality turned into a feast.
the servers were all great. the food was excellent as always.
This is the second brazilian restaurant we have tried in San Antonio (the other one was downtown). I would rate both as equal in terms of service, ambiance, quality of food, etc. However, the downtown restaurant's salad bar was much better. For example, it offered a soup (an extremely good lobster bisque the night we were there) and a fabulous shrimp dish. Chama Gaucha had neither. We celebrated our office holiday lunch at Chama Gaucha recently. This was a first time visit for me. Food was great, as was the service, and atmosphere. You must bring your appetite and be prepared to leave extremely full. Our group enjoyed tremendously. Check out time was a little slow, but overall experience was great! I hope to visit again soon.
I was very pleased with the quick seating upon arrival, I let them know ahead of time it was for a birthday and they did provide a amazing tres leches cake at the end of our meal. I am not a fan of meat so I didn't eat much salad bar was good thought their would be more selection but pleased with taste of what they had. Service was great I would've like to have a say so on sides but also were good. Overall if you love meat it's a great place worth your time if not a fan of meat this is not for you :)
This was our first visit to Chama Gaucha and I was very impressed. The wait staff hustled the entire time and was constantly working the floor. Service was excellent and the food tasted amazing.
This was the first time for my family to visit. We had a great time. My only suggestion is that the waiters explain the process for those that have never been to this place. We were a little lost....
All the service and the Quality is perfect, I really enjoy every time i went to this restaurant and please taste the Papaya Dessert its wonderfull!!!
Excellent food and service. Very good salad bar including vegetables, cheeses and cold meats. Excellent variety of meat in spades. Very good brands of tequilas and wines.
