The staff are kind and the memory care director is wonderful. They are very patient and understanding with the residents and family members. The facility is being renovated and will look great when finished.

Always available to discuss needs. Willing to work with family to ensure patients are cared for. Limited resources for bed ridden patients. Limited resources for transferring patients needing physical assistance (bed to chair, chair to bed). Activities - need to include patients who are not able to physically participate because they are bed ridden. Food - menu options need to be expanded. Need to provide more advanced knowledge of food menu options. Be able to accommodate food restrictions for patients.

What I appreciated most about Charter Senior Living of Towson was the living accommodations. My family member had a one-bedroom apartment, which provided a separate bedroom and living area, along with ample closet storage. The bathroom was spacious enough to accommodate both a walker and a wheelchair. The kitchenette, equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, and sink, was a nice addition. When it comes to the care services, we have nothing to compare to...mom is in memory care. My expectations were skewed since I didn't really know what my mom was capable of for a couple months...memory care is expensive as expected....however we would recommend this community to other families

Mom is very happy there. She has made a lot of friends, enjoys the activities, likes the staff, and thankfully doesn't need any additional healthcare services at this moment in time. She enjoys the outings and the convenience of having a doctor come into the facility and they also provide shuttle service to any outside doctors that she may need to see.

It was an ok place, my dad was happy there while able to walk independently. Once he needed more advanced care, situation was much trickier. There were occasional issues that were corrected after I would bring attention to them but I was there every single day. Would not recommend leaving a family member there without close supervision, they were very disorganized, would miss room cleanings, forget to do his laundry, or would not put clothes on him after shower. My loved one is currently a resident at Charter Senior Living Towson and the overall experience has been good so far. The friendliness, staff and care services are great. The meals are okay. The value for cost and cleanliness are good. Overall, I would recommend Charter Senior Living Towson to others.

Charter serves good meals three times a day. Residents are free to ask for anything the kitchen has. Every room has at least a mini fridge and microwave. My leftovers rarely go to waste. On a weekly basis Charter publishes a daily list of activities. Usually entertainment and Happy Hour occur on Fridays. Charter brings in specialty doctors -- dermatologist, Opthalmologist, dentist -- since I came here 2-3 months ago. The building, furnishings, and grounds are attractive.
