My grandmother is from Iran and she doesn't understand English and lives there for 12 years and recently I have asked for permit parking, because i am out of town and came to be with my grandmother over the holiday and the lady who works there and think she is the president of united state refuse to give me parking permit, her name is (name removed) and she told the resident has to have title, and she also refused to give me a general contract lease, her customer service to other people is very bad as I was watching that oth... read more

I have nothing positive to say about our tour of Charter. The facility is very institutional, the memory care residents are all locked on the second floor and have no outside area. When we walked around the residents were all just sitting there and looked incoherent as if they were heavily medicated.

Business response:

Hello, I am sorry to hear that you had an unfavorable experience during your visit at our community. I would like to have the opportunity to discuss this in more detail with you at your convenience. I can be reached at 410.377.2100.

I've had to get private care givers for my loved one. I am not pleased with this community. I am thinking I might be taking my loved one out of the community due to me having to pay for private care at this community. I wish they would have told me about the symptoms of the memory care that my loved has. I am only able to see my loved one for 30 minutes every 5 days.

I rated a 1 because I couldn’t choose less. This location is so poorly run, the staff is untrained, and worst of all the Director [Name removed] is the most unqualified employee I’ve ever met - and she is in charge. She is rude and actually lies to customers. Do not consider this community for a loved one. There are a few individuals that are nice and mean well. But mostly the staff is untrained, unqualified, and does not perform any of the activities or duties as advertised.

Most of the aids in the memory care unit were poorly trained and only did as much as they had to, especially on the afternoon/ evening shift. My husband died 16 days after being placed there and they called my adult children before they called me. When they did call the nurse was very rude and just blurted out my husband had expired and that I needed to come right away. She didn’t even say she had bad news or that she was sorry. The care we were promised and the care my husband received were very different. The food was freq... read more

I would like to know who controls the facility security system. Lately there's been strange people on the premises without reason. Does the facility have cameras properly working and are they located in significant places on the exterior. I'm aware of the fact that this location isn't safe for residents or employees. Vandalism has taken place on the property without any knowledge via security cameras. I have yet to hear of any upper management looking in on these situations as they occur. What are the standard protocols for ... read more

My loved one got kicked out. After an incident they sent my loved one to the hospital and they told me my loved one could not return. They completed an assessment and had me believe my loved one was a good fit for the community. I thought they were able to handle and provide her care. They did try really heard to accommodate but there was one nurse that had an attitude from the start. Overall, it did not end well. They are not suitable for one who has mental issues but memory issues are fine.

Staff was very friendly. There were dining rooms on each floor including hydration stations and snacks between meals. The on site chef had a vast menu. The cost for a studio, $3900 or small one bedroom, $4500. They did not allow individual pets but had a community pet. They have an exercise program. I thought the rental rates were high for the small rooms with average amenities which did not include a pool, balcony, patio, gym, whirlpool or 4 season sunroom. There are 5 levels of care with prices starting at $700 for level o... read more
