We've had the pleasure of doctoring with Dr. V. He was extremely thorough in his exam with our Golden Retriever pup. He has a great sense of humor but is very serious about the care of a pet. We have spoken with him on the phone as well as he calls you back when you have questions. Since we are new pet owners, we ask some pretty goofy questions and he is always patient and answers without making us feel stupid. The prices are also reasonable.

Not sure why their are not more reviews. These two guys and the staff have to be the best animan hospital in Las Vegas. We've been going this office since 2004. We've spent at least 5 - 7 thousand dollars in that time. We don't regret one dime. Both Dr's V and Wilson are straight forward, don't recommend or do procedures that are unecessary. I've never once questioned what they propose. We've lost some our best friends, but it's never by an action or non-action of these doctors. All of our kids have been older rescued dogs. ... read more

Until we moved back east, JC Wilson was our vet for 20 years. We took our first puppy from the animal shelter to him. Our 2nd dog, we rescued about 2 years later. Both dogs lived to be 12 and 14 years old and I attribute their long lives to the excellent care they always received. Both dogs had serious health issues at different times and he pulled them through it. One dog was like a goat, he ate all sorts of things. Dr. Wilson was always very kind and patient regardless of the number of times I called him in a hysterical st... read more

Hey guys... here to talk about Cheyenne Tonopah animal hospital. They are the best hospital i've ever been to... let alone worked at. As a youngster, my mother and I used to take our dog "skippers" to see Dr. Vanderlinden... ( by the way, i can't express how much i'd like to have dinner with him!) but anyhow... as I got older I was awarded the chance to finally work for Dr. Wilson so i took it faster than you can say 'sodiumpenthabarbatol'. I love it. I'm still working there right now and i have no complaints. I've also wor... read more

There are 2 vets here, Dr. V and Dr. Wilson. Both are good, but I HAVE A SERIOUS vet crush on Dr. V. He is straight forward, patient, and kind. He never suggests or insists on procedures that are unnecessary, and often.... vets do. Kind of like auto mechanics or plumbers. Who am I to say my dog doesn't need an abdominal flush? Well, no worries here. He is the best vet I have had, no matter where I have lived. It's a small business, and everyone is nice. sometimes the staff are a little frazzled, but they are always... read more

JC Wilson is the best vet in Vegas -- period. I drive an hour to take my vizsla (our 2nd) to him -- and I wouldn't dream of complaining -- or (shock/horror) changing doctors. Bad vets, in my opinion, aren't worth spit. Good vets are miracle workers. Really good vets are saints. JC is even better than that. (I know these are big words -- but seriously...I have grounds...) First, If you have a hunting dog, he's your guy. But more importantly, he has to be one of the kindest most sensitive vets I've ever met. When ... read more

I've been going to this veterinarian office for approximately 30 years. In recent years, they have had ownership changes and we have seen a serious decline in the way this office handles patients. We have spent approximately $10,000 in 2025 on our animals. When one of them were sick, we got charged after hours emergency fees, even though we came by at 3 PM on a weekday. They say if you show up without an appointment, you have to pay weekend / walk in fees. Sometimes it's impossible to get a phone call back, but the biggest t... read more

I was not able to respond here to the admin. that responded to my bad experiences with this Vet Hospital. Their comment was what I consider "gaslighting"! "They were saddened by how I "INTERPRETED " their awful treatment of me via phone. I don't have the exact wording in front of me, but there was NOTHING "INTERPRETED"....it is called bad customer service! I believe it was a copy and paste response. Or, at least partially. A business is only as good as its weakest link!! Remember the name LIZA....stay away, and speak with... read more

I adopted a 5 month old kitty from a rescue. After much searching for a good Vet (we are here 4 1/2 years now from CO), and many Vets, we were told this animal hospital, Dr. V., in particular was very good. We had blood work done at a different Vet's animal hospital, which of course is very expensive. She prescribed an appetite stimulant (kitty would go a few days not eating but drinking lots of water). It didn't work. Her other option was more expensive and we weren't sure it would do the trick. I have a friend who rec... read more
