I was not able to respond here to the admin. that responded to my bad experiences with this Vet Hospital. Their comment was what I consider "gaslighting"! "They were saddened by how I "INTERPRETED " their awful treatment of me via phone. I don't have the exact wording in front of me, but there was NOTHING "INTERPRETED"....it is called bad customer service! I believe it was a copy and paste response. Or, at least partially. A business is only as good as its weakest link!! Remember the name LIZA....stay away, and speak with... read more

I adopted a 5 month old kitty from a rescue. After much searching for a good Vet (we are here 4 1/2 years now from CO), and many Vets, we were told this animal hospital, Dr. V., in particular was very good. We had blood work done at a different Vet's animal hospital, which of course is very expensive. She prescribed an appetite stimulant (kitty would go a few days not eating but drinking lots of water). It didn't work. Her other option was more expensive and we weren't sure it would do the trick. I have a friend who rec... read more

I give this vet experience a 3 out of 10 simply because they waited til after x-ray procedure to let me know that it cost 200 and something dollars for every view they take of x-rays I've had a fair share of vet visits being that my dogs are 9 and 11 years old... doctors are supposed to disclose how much everything is before they do anything. their doctor did not... big fail on their behalf. I called ahead and asked pricing prior to visit. I was told 235$ for x-rays I rounded it up to about 300$ total by the end of procedure... read more

I'm moving it to a 1 star because of the response from the representative. Every vet provides high quality care and there is absolutely nothing special about your veterinary services. I actually get superior quality care and support from the Hearts Alive Veterinary. Also, looking at a pets ear should be considered part of a EXAM fee but I know corporate vets like yours are not in it for the animals and their owners.

Business response:

We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your visit. Our pricing reflects the high-quality care and services we provide. We strive to be transparent about our fees upfront. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration to better serve our customers in the future. If you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at (702) 645-3036.

My 9 year old beautiful, smart, obedient and loving German Shepherd just died 3 days after a visit to this Animal Hospital. I believe she died of a drug overdose as she became overly lethargic and paralyzed after taking the huge doge of prescribed pain killer of Gabapentin. She was finally correctly diagnosed after suffering for 2 years from 2 other vets at this hospital not diagnosing her properly when I first took her there for breathing problems. After original x-rays didn't show anything wrong with her lungs or bronch... read more

Business response:

We are saddened to learn about your experience and offer our deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved Sassy. Dr. V left you a voice message as soon as he returned to the hospital from a few days off and saw the note that Sassy had passed away. In that voicemail, he offered his condolences and wanted to discuss the lab work, medications dispensed, as well as any questions you may have had. Please reach out to us at (702) 645-3036 so that we can discuss this in greater detail.

Worst place ever, made a appt for my dog to be seen even with the appointment I still had to wait an hour to see the dr. They are extremely overpriced, for the poor veterinary service that gets provided. Just for them to look at my dog they charged $66 and the Dr spent less than 10 minutes looking at my dog. I will never come here again and highly suggest if you want a quality veterinarian you don't come here either!

Business response:

We are disappointed to hear about your experience at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital. We strive to provide quality care and efficient service to all our patients. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your visit. Your feedback is important to us and we will take your comments into consideration to improve our services. Front desk blonde lady isn't friendly at all Vet techs were awesome. Looks like they were training the day my dog and I went in. One was talking to me, and the other was getting a feel for my dog. She wasn't having it. She's a rescue and is very slides. Hasn't attached yet, but she'll jump and hide. They ended up taking her off to get her shot. Vet came in and gave my dog. Clean bill of health, and was told they'd come collect payment. The front desk person came in, got payment, and told me she'd be back with my rec... read more

Business response:

Unfortunately, I'm not sure who you might be referring to with blond hair, as our whole front staff has dark hair. That said, we certainly apologize for any lack of friendliness from our front desk staff. We appreciate your feedback and will address this issue internally. Thank you for recognizing the great work of our vet techs and vet. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to contact us at (702) 645-3036.

After bringing my cat in because he was coughing and sneezing, he was given a shot and told to be isolated for a week. I kept him isolated for the week, and two days after that, I called the vet because he had a severe, bloody nose, and lots of clots as well. I called them on a Wednesday morning, a week after his isolation ended, and the receptionist told me they would call back. It's now been over 48 hours and I've heard nothing; no return call Wednesday or Thursday. It really bothers me how unconcerned they appear to be wi... read more

Disappointed more than anything first two times i had my dog there for boarding everyone is great friendly and amazing. We left my three year old choc lab there yes he is energetic and loves playing and they tried to tell me he was gonna hurt himself and rip his nails off on the smooth glass doors and that they gave him Trazodone (brand name Desyrel®, Oleptro®) is a serotonin antagonist/reuptake inhibitor (SARI) antidepressant that is used to treat behavioral disorders, especially anxiety- or phobia-related in dogs (e.g., se... read more
