Back in March we lost a loving family member. His name was Tyler. He was only 6 years young...He was a 90 Lb Lab/Pit mix. He was the happiest dog. After over a decade of frequenting this animal hospital, I can say that I am very disappointed in the lack of efficiency and competency of the staff. They were bought by a corporate entity and Dr. V is the managing vet. His standards are still at the gold level, but his staff has become complacent, at best. I can't even give 1 star, but wouldn't let me post the review without selecting 1 star! I had an appointment at 11:30 for my pets distemper vaccine. I had called the day before to make sure my appointment was still on as I did not receive the normal text verifying my appointment. I showed up at 11:25 and called to let them know we were there. At 11:55 a nurse comes out to my car to advise me that distemper vaccine is now only done once a year! I told her that I had just waited 30 minutes and why was I not informed sooner. Sh... read more

I have a cat currently under care of Dr. Mendez at this place. Mendez has been lovely. However, when I called last night (5pm) to find out if I can get him in for a follow up visit I was told to bring him back in the morning where they keep him all day to evaluate him and give him fluids and so on. When we arrived to drop him off, we were told that somebody made a mistake in telling me to do that and that they couldn't take him without charging me an emergency fee during normal hours of operation. My family and I had been coming to this vet for years. Dr. Wilson & Dr. V were always amazing to us. I'm not sure what changed, but I will never come back here again. I took my cat in last week because she had ear mites. I was charged $150 for an exam fee ($60), for them to take a sample and look at it under a microscope ($50) and the other $50 was for the treatment they put in both of her ears. Dr. Ballle is a horrible veterinarian. I took my dog in because he had stones in his bladder area. The level of not caring was astounding. My dog was in total pain and she would not give him any pain medication, because I would not sit there and get taken for a ride with her unnecessary tests. i got an ex-ray and that's it. A Nightmare!! I was on the schedule for 2 weeks - it was that long of a wait for a much needed follow-up for my 14 year old boy. I received multiple text appointment reminders and then even say they are looking forward to seeing us. We arrive on time - and after waiting 20 mins, just as I get my boy standing up and down his ramp - they advise me the doctor is going in to do a spade procedure. We brought our Rottweiler puppy here because VCA would not do a dew claw removal ( was not done as a newborn). Dr. Sanchez said she old do it along with getting her spade. On December 1 2020 our dog had surgery. We dropped her off about 8 am ( which I got differing times) and was to.d a time to call. We got a call from a tech about 11 am saying that there was a delay but they were about ready for her and to call back at 1pm. I called at 1 30 pm and was told my dog was still in surgery! Go here if you want to be treated like shit and a place that constantly has turnover. They don't care about you or your pet. They don't accommodate anything and they honestly could careless. This is a place that smells is always dirty and the staff is not friendly and this is a place where you take your pet to die and that's about it. I would never ever recommend anyone to you!
