I would like to start off by saying, I've been to many vets. I've even gone to vet's that were recommended and have never been satisfied. I can truly say, I'm impressed. I was given a reasonable estimate on my dogs surgery and paid exactly what was quoted. This has never happened before. I've been ripped off by another animal hospitals giving a "range" which was the top price, not even a dollar less. Other vet's seem to just want your money and rip you off. Dr. V. is the best vet I've seen in Las Vegas. He's knowledgeable, forthright, seems to genuinely care about animals, and doesn't "up-sell" as many other vets seem to do to increase costs. My dog had his teeth cleaned by Dr. V. and unbeknownst to me, he had some excess gum tissue that needed to be removed. Dr. V. took care of it at no additional charge. I've only been a couple of times but each time I was more than happy with the length of time spent by the vet and the thoroughness of the exam and explanation of medicines given. The doctor was so exceptionally experienced that he was able to point out several behaviors that were totally missed by the vets at Camino Al Norte and Banfield. We have taken all of our pets to Dr. Wilson & Dr. V since 1992. We've never had a problem with either of them or anyone on staff. Thankfully most visits have just been routine. When they have been asked to euthanize one of our animals they have been very supportive & caring. We are grateful for the the love & care they have shown us over the years.

I have had many pets, and consequently, many trips to veterinarians over the years. The staff and doctors here are among the best I have ever met. From the quick and efficient manner in which the initial appointment was made to meeting Dr. Wilson, it was great. They addressed the problem with my dog and offered a reasonable solution. The examination was thorough and the costs involved were moderate. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
I would give this place a 5, Dr. V is awesome!!! However, his front desk staff needs some serious help in friendliness! I don't think a single one of them smiled once. I was super concerned on my first visit but, Dr V quickly changed my opinion. So forewarning ...once you get past the miserable front desk staff, you are golden. I really hope Dr. V sees this post and makes some changes.
I highly recommend Dr Wilson and "Dr V" Vanderlinden and the staff here. They are friendly and professional. No rush-rush here. They know our pets and always give them the individual attention of returning friends. Prices are reasonable, and all technological advancements, surgical expertise etc has been available when needed, which gave us piece of mind, and has helped our pets live long and healthy lives, something we are passionate about, as we love our pets!
Dr. Wilson and the entire staff are always accommodating and friendly. My husband's family has been taking their dogs to Dr. Wilson for many, many years, always caring during the process of putting pets down. He has been seeing both our pups since we've adopted them at 8 weeks old, one large mastiff, one small terrier. :knock on wood: we've never had to use their emergency care, hopefully never have to.
We felt terrible, our six year old, six pound doggie daughter lost a tooth and we realized some of her bottoms were loose and her gums were looking rough. :( A friend referred us to Dr. V., my husband took our two fur babies in for teeth cleanings and needed extractions. The staff was very nice from calling to make the appointment to picking them up. Dr. V. very kind and informative.
