Chuze apparently reopened and charged me twice within a few days. I called and told them I had no communication on the reopening (if I had I would have called to cancel- the gym won't be my go to with Covid, it's not safe for me). The front desk told me they "sent a plethora of emails".. I haven't received a one since March 18th. She also said someone would call me back- These are crazy times, and people are struggling. My son has type 1 diabetes and I heard I can request a 90 days freeze on it account because the last time I went there, social distancing was only for show, you have to exit through 2 different doors. the rest of the time there was no distancing, plus the little wipes they place around to disinfect equipment are a joke. Didn't feel safe. I called to do so and was placed on the freeze. My bill cycle is on the 21st so they said I will still be charged this month bc I didn't call 10 days ahead. I pay for a premium membership to use pool & sauna. Pool doesn't open until 4:30 am The water is always cloudy. You can tell they sweep filth off floor into the pool. You can see the dirt grit grim on the edge of stairs & lining the edge of the pool. The air vents blowing down on you smell like sewer. The sauna is down about every 3 months for up to two weeks They have great employees except 1 lady who has a serious chip on her shoulder. She is relatively new but seriously nasty.

This rating is for the experience I had with a supervisor. Its a shame that 1 person can change my view of an otherwise great gym. To make matters worse, I sent a complaint directly to Chuze to see if they were interested in reaching out to me to address the problem. I left my number to call if I could answer any questions but as I have read with other complaints, they send out a very impersonal general email with no name. Sooo Chuze's Team Training class has a 5 minute cut off time, right? Like you can't join the class after 5 minutes. I show up ONE MINUTE LATE after fighting terrible traffic because everyone is rushing to get home because there's a giant BLIZZARD coming. I am a very active member, I spend money here, I recommend them to almost everyone I know but I show up one minute late and they won't allow me to take the class. I went here to see about getting a membership there and got a trial membership for 7 days. I let the worker know that after 10 years at my current gym, I was thinking about switching to a more updated gym and that I'd never been to Chuze Fitness before. He didn't offer to show me around or anything. I was supposedly "set-up" to be able to access all their benefits, but couldn't access the sauna/pool area. This place has changed so much since I first became a member 3 years ago. The high school drama that goes on behind the counter effects costumer service in a negative way. The professionalism has really taken a downfall.

It's a gym.....nothing fancy. But management staff is always grumpy and not nice at all. I have the platinum membership and sometimes when I bring a friend in it's an issue. If your membership allows something that you $$pay$$ for it should not be an issue or a chore to get but it is and when it is the normal staff helps out great but the managers belittle the staff and some guests.

The customer service is horrible. I brought them a referral and tried to get my points for it and still don't have them! I spoke to Amanda the manager and wasn't heard or respected whatsoever . Cody is a front desk person who I've reached out to for questions and he has never given me an accurate answer! It's a bunch of trashy people who talk on their cell phones while they work out not caring that you're there to exercise not overhear a conversation about how your husband is cheating on you. I'm cancelling my membership.
