Lived here for four years and it's been an excellent experience. I am not a big fan of the bright spot lights that have been recently installed on some of the buildings as they shine DIRECTLY into peoples bedrooms and living rooms at all hours of the night, even on the top floor, and I wish someone would have made a different decision on that lighting choice. I have only lived here about a month and a half. I have placed 3 maintenance requests in that time period. All of those requests were handled in a timely and professional manner. Management even double checked to make sure that I was happy with the experience.

I love living at Clairmont at Hillandale. It's a community that is close to everything in the area - you can get almost anywhere in minutes. Whenever I submit a maintenance request, it is always immediately addressed with a pleasant smile and professional service.

All of my work orders are completed within 24 hours and Kim was very helpful during my tour and my move in process! I don't hear much highway noise from my building and I have enjoyed living at CAH.

I've been here almost 2 years. I picked Clairmont because it's close to my place of employment and they had what I needed: A 2 Br apartment and a garage. Maintenance has always been quick to respond. The office staff are always friendly, even when they want you to hand over your Yankees gear! The grounds are clean and the neighbors are (mostly) quiet. I have no complaints about Clairmont at Hillandale. If you need someplace located close to Duke and/or downtown Durham, without THAT price tag, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend... read more

If Chaos Had a Leasing Office, It Would Be This One Management here treats laws and leases like optional reading. They tried to bill me for electricity not in my name, ignored every statute that proves they’re wrong, and when I pointed it out with receipts, their solution was: “Pay it anyway or we’ll evict you.” Iconic.
