UPDATE: I have to hand it to Dr Vincent for saving this vet's reputation in my book. Still probably won't be my regular vet however I was desperate and they are open on Sundays and were able to get my dog in after he ripped open a wound. It was awesome that they were able to see me so quickly and get it covered. It's still healing but +2 stars for Dr Vincent being knowledgable and helpful with his treatment, the a+ work of the techs and they clipped his nails for free while they were shaving his belly and dealing with the w... read more
The entire staff, from check in, to your appointment, to check out, is so friendly. Each one of them genuinely cares for your pet. They really care for your concerns and give so much love to my dog.

The day after I moved here in 2008, my cat had an emergency and no other vet in town was taking new patients. Clocktower took him without hesitation so I crossed my fingers and hoped they were at least competent. Boy did I luck out! These guys are THE BEST! Since then, they have been the only vet I will take my babies to. I arrived in Virginia with two very elderly pets. They helped keep my cat alive to the ripe old age of 19 and my large dog to 15. Am a recent customer and have only been twice but I have nothing but praise for everything about both visits. The front desk people were very helpful, from the moment I phoned in about appointments to checking me in/out. The Vet techs were very smart and attentive and asked the right questions. And both vets I met did a great job handling the dog and articulating what was going on and what the options are. Clocktower cared for our previous dog for 10 years; they actually helped us with her during the sensitive and painful final days of her life. We recently adopted/rescued a 10 week old puppy so it was a no brainer to go back to Clocktower. We walked in to find many great changes/updates to their space. Clocktower has been our go-to vet for the past 2.5 years. Our cats have gone in for their routine check-ups, and one of them had to have dental work done a few months ago. The staff is excellent - professional, patient and helpful. They really understand how much your pet means to you, and they always prioritize emergencies which is one of the best parts about this vet. This is a wonderful veterinary clinic. Everyone I have dealt with, from the doctors to tech to the staff has been caring, helpful and professional. My dogs are my babies and I would not trust their care to anyone but the best. I recommend Clocktower unreservedly!
