How lucky we are to have found Dr. Alyse Baron at Coastal Kids! She has been our pediatrician since our 7 year old was born! She is brilliant, patient and calm. There is nothing more nerve-wracking than questions about your child's well-being and both my husband and I could not feel more confident with Dr. Baron. She does all of our well-checks and sick visits but also is invaluable with advice re: sleep training, nutrition, potty-training and even behavior! I bring the kids I nanny for to coastal kids, was just there today and today we had Dr. Pertz, she's young and fun and super cool with the kids. I have a 12 year old boy and she was so good with talking to him about his weight and insecurities and I think it felt so good for him to hear this from a professional. She also saw the 8 year old boy and will be seeing the youngest, (5yr) soon in December. The family has been coming here for years but we left this visit talking about how much we liked our "new" Doctor! Woo!

I had the best experience at Coastal Kids, I had ease with making my first appointment, the staff was very friendly, I did not wait more than 10 minutes before being called into the room, Angela Pascoe was very considerate of my daughters fears, it was clean and welcoming. Dr.Abelowitz was also very kind and considerate of our circumstances. I highly recommend Coastal Kids when choosing a Pediatrician. You will not be disappointed.

My 15 year old son has been a patient of Dr Abelowitz since birth. At 16 months, I was concerned of my son's lack of interest in walking. After a thorough appointment and interview, Dr.Abelowitz felt that he had traces of autism and guided me through the process of what I needed to do. I had no clue that this was autism, but it all made sense. I have been taking my children to Coastal kids for 3 years and have been satisfied every time. Wonderful staff, reasonable wait time and very efficient. The Drs take time to answer any concerns and make you feel very at ease when the appointment is through. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone!

My family and I were visiting the area a few weeks back. Our daughter wasn't feeling too good. After two days, we got a bit worried to so we decided to take her in and get her checked out. Thank goodness it was nothing serious and she was feeling better during the visit. The staff was not only professional, but treated us like family.

We just moved from the east coast and I am so relieved to have found such a good pediatrician like Dr. Abelowitz. I did thorough research on the web and I was very impressed with the background of Dr. Abelowitz. The check-in was fast despite the typically long paperwork that needed to be filled out, but this is a regular procedure for new patients at any practice. The staff was clear and objective. This is by far the best doctors office I have ever been to, each doctor spends the time to get to know you and is extremely kind and knowledgeable. The office is always super clean and staff is amazing with the kids and parents. I feel like they all go out of there way to make you feel better if your child is sick and or there just here for shots or a check up. This review is for Dr. Jenny Hoffmann at Coastal Kids in Newport Beach. I had an excellent experience with her. She is extremely knowledgable and approachable. It makes a world of difference to have a Dr. with the academic credentials that she does. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She plays with my children and makes them feel at ease despite their medical conditions. I will continue to use her as my primary care doctor and appreciate how wonderful Dr. Abelowitz and his practice is.
