This was my first visit here at coastal kids and it was amazing. I loved the staff and Doctors here. on my first visit my child had a physical exam and there was a form that had to be filled out I had forgotten the form, I brought it in the next day and mentioned to me it would be done within 24-48 hours but would try and get it to me as soon as possible, I got a call within 2 hours, AMAZING! We have been going to Coastal Kids for almost 10 years with our 3 kids. While it is a busy office, and sometimes you have to wait to be seen, the care my kids receive has never been anything sort of friendly, kind and caring - exactly what you want and need. I found each doctor to be compassionate and knowledgeable and pro-active. We love Coastal Kids and Dr. Stephen Abelowitz. He's such a genuine doctor, and when he's with you it never feels rushed and he listens to your concerns and questions with full attention. My toddler loves him. We've never had to wait very long for our appointment and the ladies at the reception are very helpful. I've used their nurse's line which is also great, the nurse got back to me within 15 mins! When we moved from Michigan, we had previously had a close friend and neighbor as our pediatrician. I was very nervous to leave that, and had prior problems with doctors in Southern California in the past on our long trips. With severe food allergies and chronic ear infections, you can't be without quality healthcare for too long. Coastal kids and Dr Abelowitz has been my kids doctor for 13 years. I have always been extremely happy with his service, office, and attention to detail. I would trust my kids to anyone else

We have been going to Coastal Kids for almost 4 years now. Our oldest son is almost 4 and our baby boy is 4 months. Dr. Abelowitz is our primary pediatrician, but we've seen most of the physicians in the Newport office. They are ALL wonderful. Both of our boys have had some health challenges and Dr. Abelowitz has always been there for us. He is beyond knowledgeable and extremely caring. I waited a long time to have kids and want only the very best for my first and only daughter. We also wanted to find not just one doctor but wanted a group of extremely knowledgeable Pediatricians that can work together as a team. One doctor is great but a team of very knowledgeable doctors is even better!! I want to thank everyone on staff at this office for opening your doors on a Saturday and taking care of my sick daughter. Theirs nothing worse then waking up with a sick child. It's comforting to know that I can count on your office and helpful staff!

I will say that I do enjoy Dr Baron and her warm comforting attitude and she has been with myself and my daughter since day 1. So I somewhat feel attached to her. However I really don't enjoy Coastal Kids as a whole. Mainly their front office and the nurse who always gives my daughter her shots. Since I have been coming to this office I never get a friendly feeling from the girls at the desk. It's always rushed and like I am bothering them? No smiles, no "how are you" NOTHING.
