Coastal Kids was recommended to us when my son's pediatrician office closed. Now that I have a 2nd child we have been with Coastal Kids(we go to Laguna office) for 9 years and I can't say enough good things about this group. Both my son and daughter get seen by Dr. Lee and she is very kind, gentle and very easy to speak with and have answered any questions that we may have had. We come to Coastal Kids (Irvine) through a recommendation six months ago and my son has been there ever since! All the doctors are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, patient to and the care my son receives has been exceptional, no matter which office you go to!!! Coastal Kids came recommended by our OB and we are really happy with them. We have met several of the pediatricians here (when we had our baby) and they were all very professional with a great bedside manner. Our regular pediatrician is Dr. Kristine Brown. She is super professional and friendly and she never talks down to the parents. She also takes her time answering all of the questions parents have and she personally returns back the calls when we had questions that we forgot to ask. I love this place. My son has been going here since he was born. They really know how to make the kids feel safe and welcome. Not very often you can give a shot to a child and the child walks away with a smile. Plus the views from the office are pretty good too.
My two children have been patients since birth. All of the doctors within this practice are thorough, kind, compassionate and highly competent/knowledgeable. It is reassuring to know that my children are in such good hands. We could not be more pleased.
Our son has been a patient of Dr. Abelowitz since shortly after his birth (we swithched from another doctor who was very good, but not as attentive and insightful). We appreciate his intelligent and thorough approach to our sons care, and we appreciate his flexibility pertaining to vaccinations. This is my first Yelp review and I am giving this to Coastal kdis at Newport beach. We recently moved away from OC. We all really miss Dr. O'Connell and Coastal Kids. Dr. O'Connell is great, always super patient with all my qustions ever since the birth of our baby girl. The staff are very nice as well. We have been with Coastal Kids and specifically Dr Abelowitz for over 10 years now and I couldn't speak more highly of Dr Abelowitz and his team. In fact my husband and I have often talked about moving and the only way we would agree, is if we could make it back regularly to have our children seen by Dr Abelowitz.
