They don't deliver when they say they're going to deliver. They lost my couch, broke my antique lamp (obviously only good as a set) and bookshelf, and make a claim against them impossible. Use a different company!

******. BROKER NOT A MOVING COMPANY. This company should not be in business, they are completely unethical and use classic "bait and switch" tactics. They almost doubled my estimate 3 days before my move. Obviously, I canceled and they are refusing to provide a refund. They don't even have a location set up on ******** not a legit company whatsoever.

This company should not be operating and providing the destruction of property services they deliver.I have dozens of pictures of the damage they did and the dump off of my belongings. And they demanded final payment before delivering my belongings. Which they did the next day which was not what I was told would happen.I paid $5000 for a 16 mile move of a 1300 sq foot home. My quote was changed twice before the movers showed up in an Enterprise truck, not a company truck. Once they were here my estimate more than doubled even after I got rid of items in my original quote. They even charge for packing materials.

Coastal services refused to return my deposit of over 3k dollars because i canceled 74 hours instead of within the 72 hours they allow for. I explained that I am unemployed and that I scheduled this move to ***** for a job that i thought i was going to get but that fell through last minute and still they refused to return any of my deposit. Coastal Moving Services extremely under quoted my move - from quote to actual final cost it tripled. They immediately handed my move off to a very unreliable moving company and then throughout the process just kept telling me to contact that company, nothing they could do to help me. Worse move of my entire life; will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone. What should have been a couple week process took almost two months leaving me to rent a hotel room as I had no furniture to put in my new home.

My mom moved from ************ to *********************. She paid $1,370 in cashier checks before she moved on July 8, 2021. The company said they were running late. After a week, they contacted her & demanded more money. They put her things in storage & wouldnt give her the property until she paid them $650 in cash! Coastal quoted me the costs for my move and what I had to pay the mover at the time of pickup and delivery. The mover they picked not only increased the price, basically doubling the final cost. The diver of the moving truck also wanted an additional $400.00 for doing a movie video for his company, we refused. Not only was our furniture in poor shape but the coffee table and end table were broken. They took pictures but we do not know who to submit a claim too.
