The worst moving experience we have experienced in 20 years.Buyer beware!In April we moved only 2 blocks, to the same house in **********, and contracted Coastal moving services - who initially managed the quoting and preservice well - with x2 thorough inventory counts and full pack/unpack service offered.On the day of the move a new company Loadrans turned up (Coastal Moving's contractor). If I could leave less than 1 star I would these guys are absolute scam artists. They take your money and they pass you off to whoever else randomly gets your stuff will you get it back who knows. Im definitely missing boxes and they broke my dining room table.
The WORST experience I've ever had with a moving service! **************** **** are incredibly rude and make little to no effort to help. They speak to you as if you're a hassle. The delivery men were completely unprofessional calling me a "fraud" and "scammer" because THEY were having an issue with their Zelle account, even despite showing them my bank account reflecting the payment, the notification from ***** that the payment was completed, and providing confirmation numbers. Do not use these Crooks. My 2700 estimate cost 7500. They demand CASH to release your goods on arrival.
Deceptive pricing! I was quoted $6000 and it ended up being $10000!!! I only had 6 rooms!!! I do not recommend!
Our experience started off great but quickly went downhill. We were moving from ***********, ** to **********, ** a big move, and we understood that. We were originally quoted one price, and when the company called a few days before the move to reconfirm, we had actually reduced the amount of furniture, including getting rid of a full king bedroom set and an entertainment center. Horrible experience. My mother in law is separating from her husband and they delayed the moving by a day and a half. So many excuses and horrible customer service. Dont go with this company, its a huge scam that screws people over with the idea that its the contractors fault. Their reviews on their site are also fake. ***** on this company.
SHADY and DO NOT USE COAST or any broker for that matter. They lied, misled, bait and switch of pricing that cost me $2300 more than what was originally quoted. This Broker/Sub out to an equally shady moving co model MUST be legally changed and I will fight to ensure that happens. See you in court.
