Do not bother. They will low ball you a price and estimate then after the move you are charged three times the price. When I followed up with them they pretended they would look into the discrepancy and I was never able to get an answer or a call back.
THIS COMPANY IS TRULY A SCAM. They collect your deposit and that is all you get.I just given away $980 to this Al Coast Moving Group for deposit to have furniture moved across state. On the phone the woman itemized room by room the things I needed to move. When the drivers got there they said they couldn’t move it all because there was no room. I was furious. I called the next day to see if they would refund some of the money I had paid. Spoke to a “manager” and said he wouldn’t do anything about it.
**** ****** the sales person is the worst person I have ever dealt with. Smooth talker to close sale. Promises to always be there. My moving quote went from $7k yo $11k. We did a quality control call with another horrible person named ******. After S&h movers packed my stuff they said I owe $17k. I called **** and ****** 20 plus times, no response. Scheduled a move for 10/27/23 and promised delivery 10/29/23. Was told today my move won't be delivered until 11/03/23. Wondering if I will get all of my items the way they were picked up, or if they will be infested.
DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! My daughter basically had to move a bedroom consisting of a dresser, bed frame and mattress, 2 nightstands, desk and computer and 15 boxes of clothes and stuff. We were told right away that met the low square footage with margin. The bid was approximately $1800. When the movers Hermes Moving and *************** arrived not only were we oversized, but we were were oversized to the tune of $1000.00. The absolute worst. Original quote was for $6200. Final charge $8700. Took 3 weeks from the time of pickup to day of delivery. Lost table legs and 3 rugs. Offering us $48 We have contacted a lawyer yesterday
an absolute scam, do NOT use them. They are not a legitimate moving company, they are a BROKER, which they do not disclose to you (illegal). They will quote you something low, get your deposit, make you sign things over the phone, and then will give you your actual quote that is thousands of dollars more.Initially they quoted us $4k for a cross-country move. I had an agreement with All Coast to move my household items. They were paid electronically up front, and stated there would be money due when they pick up my items. They also stated there will be no charge for tape, plastic wrap as well as blankets. I got charged for wrap. On the day of pick up, a third party received my items, not All Coast, and I was charged additional for 800 square ft, instead of 400 square ft, that All Coast quoted me.
