While the reps I spoke to both in getting the original estimate and a final estimate were pleasant, their final estimate based on photos and discussion was way low and I ended up paying $500 more on moving day. When I called on Monday the customer service supervisor kept saying that the estimate is based on the space used trying to fit the furniture "like Tetris" and all furniture is different. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with, if you can even consider them a company. They are a major scam and they don't care about their customers at all. They quote you at one price and force you to commit without fully reading the documentation and then increase the price 3 days prior to your move. These people are scammers and not to be trusted. Do not use them. The movers they contracted to do my move did not show up twice. I had to be moved so I got other real movers. They have $1770 of my money and will not return it. Be smart and safe use someone else.
This Company is HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sub-let companies are Ok, but Coastal upcharges with their sub-let companies, DOUBLE!! Stay away from this Company! About to file a Law Suit.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They quote you one price then it more than triples in the end. They tell you you will have your own truck LIE!! They come to your house out sourced and provide you with people that steal from you. I have all the images of that day including the numbers of the rented Uhaul they brought. Should never have to require 1 star to post a review. We had to use a moving company (for the first time) for our move across 3 states as pods/similar services were not able to deliver to our new area. When talking to customer service, who created our estimate, she made it sound like **** was a reputable company and ranked #2 for moving services. Fraudulent services. I had a contract for 2,792 and when the movers got here they said that I owed $4,500 due to wrong estimate even though I provided a correct estimate and accounted for all items other than barstools that I stated I could move if it were to drastically change the price. I continued on because my company will reimburse me BUT the kicker is that the guys moving me said there isn’t enough space on the truck and that I need to get a uhaul on my own. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! When you call for a quote for your 4 bedroom home and contract they will continue to use the language of "26 ft box truck..." but when they call three days out from your move they will inform you that you actually only have 1/3 of the box truck allotted to your family and that full use of the truck will be $12,000.
