Was very disappointed in this company during all aspects of moving a family member across country. Was told to pick a date that we would like items delivered and scheduled time off to help. Waited around all day and no contact. We then contacted the company and told it would be **** business days. In addition we were told that a verified check was okay for pick up but not for delivery. THIS COMPANY QUOTED MY MOM A CERTAIN AMOUNT AND TOLD HER THAT SHE WOULD BE CHARGED THE *** WE CALLED AND WHEN HER STUFF WAS DROPPED OFF. WHAT THEY DID NOT TELL HER WAS THAT SHE WOULD BE CHARGED 4 TIMES AT **** DOLLARS EACH TIME FOR THE LAST 3 TIMES. I wish there were a score less than zero. These people are scum. They completely misrepresent who they are and what they do. This whole company is a scam. They present themselves as a moving company, but all they do is sell your stuff to an unknown 3rd party to be picked up and delivered. Then they claim no fault of their own when your stuff is missing and/or damaged. Save yourself the hassle, just ditch all your stuff and buy new when you move.
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Do not trust any quote from this company.We gave them a very detailed list of items to be moved and they gave us a quote. I got a quote from All Coast and ended up going with another company that was local, cheaper than the original quote, and with better reviews. When I let them know they immediately started getting angry with me to the point where I had to block their number. Mysteriously after I started getting calls from a dozen moving companies who had my number and email but names like "[my first name] ********" And "**** ****". All Coast is a broker not a moving company. They misrepresented Beyond Movers, by telling me that they would pack everything up and there would be no extra charges and that my stuff would be delivered on November 6th. Beyond movers got to my house I discovered that there was certainly additional cost to have them wrap up and move glass table tops, a china closet, etc. And my goods would be delivered sometime within 14 days of November 6. Do not bother. They will low ball you a price and estimate then after the move you are charged three times the price. When I followed up with them they pretended they would look into the discrepancy and I was never able to get an answer or a call back.
THIS COMPANY IS TRULY A SCAM. They collect your deposit and that is all you get.I just given away $980 to this Al Coast Moving Group for deposit to have furniture moved across state. I got absolutely nothing for my money. They no longer answer the phone when I called. They gave me a date and time to pick up the load but no one ever showed up or called. On the phone the woman itemized room by room the things I needed to move. When the drivers got there they said they couldn’t move it all because there was no room. I was furious. I called the next day to see if they would refund some of the money I had paid. Spoke to a “manager” and said he wouldn’t do anything about it.
