We were severely under quoted for our move from ******* to *******. When we asked for a refund they would not return our money. ***** ****** would not return our phone calls and kept giving us the run around. We are a military family and it cost us a lot of money for them not to meet the demands of our move. Do not use this company because they entice you with low prices to get your business, but cannot deliver what they offer.
WARNING: FIND A DIFFERENT MOVING COMPANY. if I could give ZERO stars I would. We were quoted 6000$ for them to move our things from ******* to **. We only lived in a 3 bedroom condo and mind you sold everything in one of the bedrooms. Movers got there and charged us an extra 6000$ because they said they needed a bigger truck. ITS BEEN OVER THREE WEEKS AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY ITEMS. IN THE PROCESS OF FILING AN INSURANCE CLAIM *** CONTACTING THE BBB. If I could I would leave zero stars. They are extremely too persistent (thirsty) in a creepy way. Providing unrealistic, low quotes indicating that's it too good to be true. Then asking for thousands of dollars up front. They refuse to take no for an answer. They continued to call me at odd hours of the day. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would. They are scammers! The are not a moving company. They use a 3rd party to move me. When I went to Zelle the third party "Ocean moving and storage" it locked my account up. I was unable to Zelle anyone. I contacted customer service and they were very rude
When the movers showed up, they took a video of everything I needed picked up. She sent that video to her boss. The movers boss called me. He said that I had doubled the amount of cubic feet that they were expecting to use. So my total bill doubled!!! Yes doubled! It went from a $4,575 move to nearly $8,000! This is so wrong! I would never recommend this company at all!
DO NOT use Coastal Moving! I have never written a review, but am compelled to share what a miserable experience we had with Coastal Moving. When we received our quote, we were assured both verbally and in writing that the quote was binding. Do not ever call this company. The only reason there is one star is because I was unable to leave a review without a star but trust me, NO STARS EVER FOR THIS COMPANY! They are frauds and their entire process is a scam. I was a fool who fell for the initial sincerity of ***** R but it was all fake. I would never recommend this company or M&R expedite mover and storage LLC they are scam artist and have no customer service skills at all. the price kept changing and they kept adding unnecessary fees which was NOT my fault, they had all the information that was necessary but decided to act like they didnt know what they were told.
