Coit changes figures and does not stand by their quotes. I go by the rule of 3 strikes your out. 1st time (2010) Coit cleaned my carpets and the tech had a chemical spill on my travertine floor that took the shine out of my tile. He apologized but did not correct. 2nd time (2011) a tech cleaned my carpets and as he was packing up I inspected & saw black streaks on walls, toilet and items in bathroom and the carpet was soaked. They came out to clean my air ducts. They were sent by a contractor due to a small fire I had at my home. Well they made more of a mess than the fire!! They scratch the paint on all the registers, left dirt and grime from the registers all over my dressers, tables, TV, and floors. Never cleaned it up. They got stains on my newly cleaned carpet. I never had a chance to utilize Coit tile cleaning services, since they did not bother to show up. I confirmed my appointment two days prior, took a day off of work, placed my dogs in daycare and moved my belongings in preparation for my 9-11am appt. 11am rolls around and I call Coit to see where the techs were and received the lame excuse that the truck broke down. Be sure to shop around - I didn't, and I paid the price...literally. I needed carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning quick, so went with a big name company. The service technician was nice, and did a good job. But, I've since had the same service and quality work done by other companies for a fraction of the price. I wonder now, if they expected me to "haggle" with them a bit, as I can't imagine they are really 3 times the price of others, yet still in business!
