On scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the best cleaning ever. I give Coit a 5. Some areas are better than others in the house. I felt they gave me the song and dance with the price(1/2 off) One price with the estimate and another after the cleaners showed up, I was behind the 8 ball and had no choice. PRICE WAS TOO HIGH FOR THE JOB THAT WAS DONE. We will never use them again.

For a non-professional, rush job where you might end up with rude tech, call Coit. I'm glad it was 40% off, but it was still waaaaaay overpriced. The first guy who came out was pleasant, but was loathe to move any furniture, and was content to just clean around stuff and clear out. He did move furniture piece by piece, as I asked him. Nothing I wanted moved took two people, and I had moved everything off said pieces. There was a huge stain that was left, that he did not mention. Like one of the other reviewers, they ignored me. There's an urban legend about why Lillie Hitchcock Coit designed the tower shaped the way it is.

It is true that they are rather pricey but the service I got from my technician, Juan Rodriguez, was frickin' awesome! He took the time to explain everything and kept me and my wife informed as he went along. He actually did the work of two people! If anything, COIT might want to consider utilizing a two-tech system in order for me to highly recommend them. Price is high because of their guarantee. had a rep out yesterday to give me an estimate on my area rug & runner. Both a wool blend & very expensive. Rep came in w/an attitude - measured both rugs, said "I assume these are synthetic?", (how rude for him to say that without asking me) asked if he could sit down, mumbled under his breath as he was plugging in figures on his calculator, kept asking me if there were any other products I needed since they had this "50% sale going on". I called Coit and was very explicit about the carpet that they were going to clean. They were badly soiled and my son's small dog was peeing on the carpet. I was told it would cost $125-$150. When they came, the cost was changed to $212. Typical bait and switch tactic. Very expensive for a small 1 bedroom apartment. Would not recommend.

This must be the way COIT runs it's business - because I too had an apointment at 9:00 AM. At 9:15 I received a call that they wouldn't be coming - other more important business had come up. THey lost my business.

I had them over because of national reputation. They are one of the most expensive and after repeated attempts the upholstry looked the same. No stains, just hadn't been cleaned in awhile and the armrests and back rests showed soiling. Their product seemed so diluted it just didn't work.

Worst customer service EVER! I called to get a quote on cleaning some wood flooring on a rental property. It first started when trying to set an appointment - the person on the other end of the line could not wrap her head around the fact that I would NOT be personally there - my tenants would be there. Conversation: So you aren't going to be there? No, I am not - this is a rental property. So when you are there...
