I have used Coit for two decades and have received nothing but top notch service. I've enjoyed excellent results with carpet, furniture and blind cleaning and repair. Their employees are courteous, fast, tidy and diligent. They have always honoured their quotes and their time commitments. Perhaps these negative reviews were from other districts, but here in Kitsilano I can only offer praise for Coit's performance. I have nothing but great things to say about COIT. The technicians were very professional. I have used them for both my carpets cleaning and air duct cleaning and would definitely recommend COIT for both of these services. I had initial had my air ducts cleaned by a company that had a groupon which made the cost much less. Lets just say you get what you pay for. We have used coit several times now to clean our tile floors as well as our ducts. I find them to be fairly priced and the techs are very considerable and knowledgeable. We have hired different companies over the years but haven't looked back since hiring these guys!

If, like me, you come into possession of a carpet with a HUGE sentimental value of nebulous origins in dire need of a clean... what do you do? Call COIT... seriously. All I knew about my rug is that my Grandmother bought it in the late 1920's when she was very wealthy. It somehow survived the invasions of the Russian army as they raped and pillaged their way through the former Yugoslavia. I had sent a more detailed email with all pertinent information through your customer service address, but after receiving 0 feedback in 2 weeks, I decided to review online so people could evaluate on their own accord. I will not be utilizing any services after this initial impression, but wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

We had a quote for 3 rugs and our sofa - have the actual quote in writing for 900 something and once finished the sales person is telling us that it should be 1500 ish and they keep harassing us - to be honest with the exception of one rug the work was not great either...

Scope of job: two sofas, one armchair and 4 dining chairs. 2 men came, on time. Job was done in approx 2 hours, uneventful. They spilled hot water on the hardwood floor, fortunately they saw it and vacuumed it; not so lucky was a small chinese silk carpet which was moved out of the way. Unfortunately, some of the water/detergent got on it and made a bleached spot on it. We only realized the damage the next day. The worst customer service! I got my blinds professionally cleaned and they didn't install them back properly and lost a part on my blinds. They said they would replace it but it'll take 3 weeks for them to come examine the situation and then another 2 weeks to replace the part. WTF? Never again.

Used them previously with good results but this was a disaster. They said they'd call me back after 5pm to confirm a time, which they didn't. Then the fellow shows up anyway when I wasn't there. I guess he was ready to come in and then when he couldn't decided to leave a mess, including his blue disposable shoe covers on the rock garden next to my door Instead of taking them with him or putting them in the trash or recycling. In short, from scheduling onward it was a terrible experienc.
