DON'T EVER use this company for their services. I had my tiles cleaned by COIT. The technician, while very friendly, managed to ruin all the stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. The chemicals they use to clean the tiles splattered onto the bottom portions of my oven, fridge, and dishwasher. They are all now permanently stained with noticeable blotches and streaks. I wish I had known about this company before I ever decided to do carpet cleaning. Why? Because I would never had contacted them to do it. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind their service but then my carpets weren't that dirty. My landlords were nice and I just wanted to leave them with a nice clean place. So then why do I regret this. Because of the constant nagging I get from their ad campaign. I used them once 4 years ago and my phone keeps ringing since then with their sales people trying to get me to book another service. the first year I told them to back off, remove my number, etc. They still call but at least I know the number now.

We are very disappointed with the quality of COITs work and their customer service. They will not stand behind their 'ten year guarantee', even after a few months. We had COIT clean and reseal the grout in our bathroom tile which had a few small areas of mould. They apply an acid that is to kill the mould and then apply a resin over the grout. The resin sample which the salesman applied on two inches of tile was thick and still looks ok. The resin the technician applied was thin and after a few months began to chip and mould... read more

When the estimator came, he said my carpets would be cleaned to my satisfaction, guaranteed. When the cleaner came, the first thing he said after bringing in his equipment was "You know there's no guarantee, right?" I said the carpet will be cleaned to my satisfaction according to the estimator. He looked a little sheepish and said that just means they do it over again. If you get any of their services expect to be called at least every couple months. I had my ducts cleaned in 2010 never used them again and they still call. First, I asked to have them not call, then I said I rent and don't have ducts or carpet, then even said I'm leaving the country and wouldn't be returning, yet they still call me in 2014. I just recognize their number now on call display and don't answer. They are the herpes of carpet cleaning... Never goes away! 604-296-4000

I recommend Coit tile cleaning but NOT their carpet cleaning . . . . My Berber carpeting is still stretched and buckled from Coit Victoria's cleaning result a couple years ago. The beige carpet throughout my condo was left sopping wet and when I started using towels on it when Coit left they were turning gray-brown from absorbing the dirty water still left in my carpet. Yuck. The centre point of the carpet in the living room dried with three two-foot long buckles or pleats showing up that are obvious, ugly and unfixable.... read more

. They refused to the job upon arriving. Said the hose was too short, couldn't do through the windows. Couldn't do it from the other side of the house because the hose would get muddy (over sidewalk?). Called in another company who did the work no problem, for 50 dollars less. We told them Coit left and they said "let me guess- the hose was too short and they couldn't go through the window"? Guess the job was too small to be worth their time. Absolutely awful. Zero stars.

Mixed bag. Had two services. Duct cleaning guy did a great job and was professional and friendly. Carpet guy treated my house as though it stood between him and his first beer. Rushed and did and overall crappy job. They won't clean my carpets again.
