My furnace stopped working last weekend and I called two of the service dealers advertised on the NW Natural Gas site and was quoted such outrageous prices, I had to let the public know that both Columbia NW and Sunset have mercenary practices. To replace my hot surface ignitor (this is the part that NW Natural Gas said was damaged and I told them that) Sunset wanted $160 for a diagnostic and $258 for the part, Columbia NW wanted $150 for the diagnostic and $191 for the part.
