Ok. Professionalism at its best. The tech got here exactly when he said on a Sunday and fixed the problem in a short period of time as we had talked before he got here. Highly recommended.
Ginger was our very helpful worker she fixed everything wrong with my grandmothers furnace and Ac which hasn't been looked at in 10 years. So she was very helpful and very nice. Thank you for your help and service.
As a first-time homeowner choosing the right heating system for my home was proving to be a daunting task. After much Goggling on the web I narrowed my search down to three heating companies and finally went with Columbia NW Heating, Inc. I received a fair estimate by Dave W. who went over the available options all at affordable prices, and soon I was rid of my Cadet Heaters and in their place was installed the beautiful, quiet Ductless Heating System by Mitsubishi. It was by far my best purchase ever as a new homeowner a... read more
I was contacted by Columbia for a review of what kind of service I received from them. I explained what happened and where they needed improvement. Guess what they did? They refunded my service call charge. I was blown away! They actually sent 2 people from the company to bring me the refund and make amends for the service I received. I will definitely give them a second look for future services. Kudo's to them for stepping up!

We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our service.
We have a home over 50 years old near Irvington Grant High area. Our furnace was about 20 years old. We visited with Tal Carbone and Dan Schillereff at Columbia NW about our options regarding replacement. We wanted a system that was 95% efficient and yet did not bust our pocket books. Tal and Dan were very thorough in showing us our options. We chose a Trane XV95, 2 stage variable speed Furnace. Their work was done with the utmost professionalism. The site was kept clean and tidy throughout the removal and installation... read more

This is a beautiful home in the NE area, and the XV95 was a perfect fit for the home. Thank you for the review!
When the rattling of our 35 year old furnace had us wondering how many cool Spring nights it would keep us warm, we called Dan from Columbia NW Heating & Cooling to get an estimate on a new heater (including air conditioning). He came over, sat down with us, and went over e-v-e-r-y option of what we thought we wanted. Afterwards, the sticker shock made us run down to Home Depot thinking we could be DIY-ers, but after much debate, we opted to let the professionals handle the job. We called Dan back, and together we figured o... read more

Thank you for the review. Our service area is the majority of the Portland Metro area.
Keep in mind that they regularly pay to get rid of bad reviews. I had Columbia install two Trane HVAC units. They under-sized the units so badly (2.5 ton for 3,000 sf) that my only choice was to buy a replacement unit. They refused to do anything to rectify their mistake. Futhermore, their installation failed the electrical inspection because they installed the wrong size of fuse - a mistake they assured me "was not really big deal." I made the even worse decision to let them fix my gas fireplace. I came into the room to fin... read more
SCAMMERS!!! Had a booth at Home Depot, were offering to waive the diagnostic fee ($99) if I signed up then. I specifically asked if it was waived if they didn't find anything wrong with my furnace. Assured "even if you don't need it". When they called to schedule, was told there was a $99 fee. I explained that I had signed-up at Home Depot, so the fee was waived. Nope... only if you have repairs done the day of diagnostic. I specifically asked if they weren't able to do it that day was it still waived and was assured "they... read more
