I moved into a floating home a few months ago which has a mini-split heat pump. It started to give off error codes and often would not run. Erik from Columbia came out but, of course, everything was fine when he was here (just like the auto shop, right?). Erik checked everything out, though, and was puzzled about the errors. He recommended coming back in the early morning when the weather was colder. He came back at 8am and bingo, he was able to diagnose and fix the problem. It's been running fine ever since. WOW, Wonderful service and Wonderful equipment. I am so happy with Columbia NW Heating Inc. This is our 2nd house we had them do. The first one was thru Home Depot but this time we called them. We had another company do our daughter's house and we was not even very happy with that company. So when it came time to do this house we called Columbia. Easy to work with and the price was GREAT. My mother had been sold a multi split system in 2009 that quit working while the warranty was still in place, but the company that made the unit went out of business. The original installers of the system were no help at all and made no suggestions as to a remedy. Columbia NW Heating and Cooling came to our rescue and they were absolutely terrific. After posting the past review, Columbia NW HVAC reached out to me, more specifically Tal called me. Realizing that mistakes were made by all parties involved they sent out a tech to install the new color wi fi honeywell thermostat I bought and they refunded me $90, im not exactly sure why they refunded me the money but im not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. CNWH&C is a wonderful company from first contact to beyond installation. The receptionists are polite, patient, efficient and kind. The salespeople are professional and kind, never pushy but very informative and allow you to make your own decision. I just wanted to leave a glowing review of the latest work done at my house. We had a full heat pump and air pusher install done by Jake and Alex and could not be happier with the work done and the efficiency that we now have in our heating and cooling system. The guys were professional, informative, and helpful as I could ask for in an install team. The sales team (Dave Whispell) did an amazing job in getting the system I wanted and at a reasonable price. My a.c. stopped working today made a call to Columbia and they showed up within in 2 hrs as it is 95 degrees today. The tech came in took a look at it I told him what I had done and he removed one of the air purifiers and looked in and saw a bad capacitor went out to the truck came back installed it and yippy it works. Thanks so much for taking care of us we were doomed to a miserable night you saved the day. Thanks again

It's 90+ degrees today, and my AC stopped working yesterday. Did I mention that today is Sunday? This is going to be the worst day ever. I feel like I'm living on the sun, but with more humidity. Called these guys, the lady taking calls was nice and told me what to expect, and when the on-call guy called me back shortly after, he walked me through a few things to check.
