My A/C was down last week when the weather was an oven. I went to Home Depot asking for help. Columbia NW Heating contacted me and sent help my way the next day even though they were fully booked up. Joel Mares the tech guy was the best. He went up to my attic and after only a short time, he told me the capacitor went bad, a common culprit to cause A/C break down during very hot days. We just had a great service call from Jim Lovett with Columbia Heating and Cooling. Jim came on very short notice to fix our air conditioner. Jim helped us with our old furnace last year and we asked for him again and felt lucky he was able to come! He is efficient, knowledgeable and professional and we trust him. He says good things about the company too; that they appreciate your good workers and reward them for excellence. Such a great choice for me! From start to finish and beyond. I chose Columbia Northwest Heating to install a new heater and air conditioner in my home. The man with the information on my options came to my home first. He sat down with me and explained very clearly and without prejudice which units were best for my home and why. I did not end up hiring this company, because another company gave me a better estimate, but I wanted to give them a good review anyway, because Martin did a great job. He was respectful, knowledgeable, explained everything to me, and was overall helpful and kind as well. Gave me an estimate in writing and called to follow uh as well. Our fireplace just would not light up and I already had 2 professionals over to take a look at it and both did not succeed in fixing it. It was only after I called Columbia NW Heating that it was finally fixed. Jake B. came and he fixed it in 30 seconds, with no effort at all. Jake was on time, was very nice, polite and knowledgeable. You can tell immediately that he is very experienced. I highly recommend Columbia NW Heating, if you ever need you fireplace fixed.

Columbia NW Heating Inc. is first class. It was confirmed yesterday. Here's how I know. We weren't sure if the estimate we received from a local company (for a heat pump) was fair or not. We needed a 2nd opinion. I called Columbia NW Heating (on a Saturday morning) and told the receptionist we were interested in an estimate on a Trane heat pump. I have been using Columbia NW on all my jobsites for a few years now. I could not ask for a better company to do business with. I recently had them install a whole new heating system in my personal home. I was blown away by the care and craftsmanship Jake and Alex put into my home. I am as picky as they come yet these guys managed to impress me. Every duct, pipe and wire was ran perfectly snug and symmetrical. All my vents were cut in perfectly. I moved into a floating home a few months ago which has a mini-split heat pump. It started to give off error codes and often would not run. Erik from Columbia came out but, of course, everything was fine when he was here (just like the auto shop, right?). Erik checked everything out, though, and was puzzled about the errors.
