Unexpected deposit The hotel was decent. Great location, close to the outlet mall. Although what was really disappointing was that since I paid for my room with a debit card, I had to pay a $100 dollar deposit. I have never come across this out of all of the hotels I've stayed at. Other than that the hotel was okay.
A great motel to stay in... Pros: Location, location, location. Surrounded by the outlets and all in walking distance - wonderful! Location: It's situated right beside the outlets, Denny's, a gas station, In/Out Burgers - how convenient. After booking our reservations we found a lot of negative comments on the hotel reviews but we still opted to stay there. Works well for a family & economical. Pros: The desk clerk Cons: Lack of towels Pros: The room suited our purpose quite nicely. we weren't going to be in the room a lot; we were staying for one night. Three of the four of us found the beds to be quite comfortable (2 seniors, 1 adult, 1 child). The desk clerk was fun & helpful. Denny's was just a short walk. Good customer service Pros: Close to shopping and hometown buffet Cons: It was a bit dirty Location: accessible They need to clean a bit more thoroughly. The information card by the phone was filthy, which leads me to believe the other items bathroom, microwave etc. might need better service. The continental breakfast was good, I would suggest extending the service hours to 10 am.
Revolution Rocks Very good accommodations. Very friendly and efficient staff. Waffles for breakfast would have been better.
Only 1 flaw, but it was huge We enjoyed our time at the hotel... until we noticed the large accumulation of mold in the shower. Easy to fix if you change the way the shower is cleaned. Overall the hotel was what I expected in that price range.
A great place to stay and shop We were in Santa Cruz and drove to Gilroy Super 8 for the night because it was a great value for the money. The motel is located right next to the Gilroy Outlet Stores so the great shopping is a bonus. The breakfast could be a bit better, but it is just what they say. We will stay again next time we are in the area.
