I was very disappointed with the level of care and staffing. There often did not seem to be enough staff available, and residents could wait a long time after pressing for assistance. At times, there was no staff visible in the building for extended periods. Communication and consistency in care were also concerning. No reports will be forthcoming. If you visit, you may not be able to get into cottage for 10 or 20 minutes and you may have to search other cottages for an official who can admit you. Front desk is not manned 24 hours and night people don't always pick up phone. There is odor and theft. The schedule of activities on wall is mostly for show. All of this will be less relevant outside of memory care, of course, and with patients who can respond to their own problems.

Pleasant Campos with easy outdoor access, making it feel less institutionalized. Very helpful and informative tour unfortunately it is not affordable for my mother since it is private pay and her only income is Social Security.. Even the studios that are too small and lack a kitchenette, are too much, and the monthly rental cost does not reflect all the various add-ons, some of which are essential. I appreciate the opportunity to tour the facility, but it won’t work for us.

Horrible Experience at Pacifica Senior Living – Our Worst Nightmare Come True We entrusted Pacifica Senior Living with the care of our beloved mother, and it turned into a heartbreaking tragedy. Absolutely worst care for Memory Senior Living. Please do more research before considering this facility. Patients left alone for hours, not given showers, food is deplorable and very understaffed. My Family member went in Healthy and left 10 days later in an ambulance due to a fall. Not discovered for hours. She lost 10 pounds in 10 days. We got her home and could never get her back to Health. Two of mom's rings were stolen while she was at this facility, the air conditioning in community areas (not patient rooms) has been out for months! I only found about about this when I spoke with the staff there who continue to tell me that they're "aware and looking into it." When Mom was sent out via ambulance (twice) they sent her without her glasses, nor her current meds lost. The meals are nothing spectacular. About any valuables, we suggest that you keep all valuables at home with you and not with your mom. Please file a report of any and all missing items to the local police.
Based on our tour at Pacifica Palm Springs, we thought It was okay. We didn't like them nearly as well as the place we chose. The facility didn't seem as well kept. The carpeting seemed stained and worn, and it just wasn't an attractive facility.

Went to visit a friend yesterday in the dementia unit. The tenants were just sitting there falling asleep, they seemed very bored, not much interaction. Posted is a calendar of activities, they were supposed to be doing therapeutic art but staff was just sitting there on their cellular phones. Very disappointing.

This is absolutely the worst place. DO NOT move your loved ones into this establishment. The staff has a huge turnover rate - you almost never talk to the same person twice, even within a small period of time. We pay almost $500 per month (one of the highest charges for meds we saw as we looked for a facility for her) to manage and hand out meds for my mom. And they NEVER get it right.
