Based on our tour at Pacifica Palm Springs, we thought It was okay. We didn't like them nearly as well as the place we chose. The facility didn't seem as well kept. The carpeting seemed stained and worn, and it just wasn't an attractive facility.

Went to visit a friend yesterday in the dementia unit. The tenants were just sitting there falling asleep, they seemed very bored, not much interaction. Posted is a calendar of activities, they were supposed to be doing therapeutic art but staff was just sitting there on their cellular phones. Very disappointing.

This is absolutely the worst place. DO NOT move your loved ones into this establishment. The staff has a huge turnover rate - you almost never talk to the same person twice, even within a small period of time. We pay almost $500 per month (one of the highest charges for meds we saw as we looked for a facility for her) to manage and hand out meds for my mom. And they NEVER get it right. The doctors don't call before making changes to her prescription regimen. Whenever we do talk to someone about a problem, the verbiage goes s... read more

Menu has a poor selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Mainly heavy, starchy foods are available. Snacks are intermittently available. It is a for-profit facility which appears to favor the stock holders over the residents.

When We Toured this Brookdale, we did not like it at all. It seemed more like an institution and had a hospital feel to it. We wanted something nicer with more resident interaction, this place was not a good fit for my loved one.

at this moment i am no happy with Brookdale Palm Beach at all-- I am having so much trouble trying to find out about my aunt- she has recently been diagnosed with dementia, and a questionable power of attorney has appeared on the scene from across the country. Brookdale has since denied my aunt telephone and visiting privileges with her only 2 friends who have been there to love and support her since her 'incarceration" I believe this to be horrible judgement, she is now saying she has nothing to live for, and I cant find ou... read more

If your family member needs very much care do not send them to the Palm Springs Emeritus. They have beautiful grounds and nice rooms but a high turnover in staff and do not follow through with what they say they will do for your family member. We were extremely disappointed in the care received and the lack of followup and reevaluation of our Mother while she was there. Her health declined and her dignity was lost at this facility.

**Cottages off Sunrise near Ramon. Assisted living $1795/mo then care on top. Probably around $1750-$2350 extra = $3620- $4100/mo.+ $304 meds and $75 incont. $3,924 less $200 if we put up $3,000 on admission = $3,724/mo.
