Wow!! This place was great! We had a wonderful server named Luis. He was so kind and informative and very helpful. He also had a fantastic attitude! Made it all the more wonderful to eat here. The food was great. Chicken was so well seasoned. My other makes a sandwich with the bread and tenders. So yummy!! Great layout. Pretty clean for fast food! Thanks Luis!
I have to update my original review and am now giving 5 stars. I guess I just really like the hot seasoning a lot better than the not hot one. The food was delicious, filling, and fun. The person I ate with loved their food. It took 30 minutes to get our order, which is kind of a long wait for fast food, but it was worth. The ambiance is fine- nothing to get excited about. The covered outdoor seating area is a nice option.

Food was hot & delicious!! Ordered the Carolina Ripper #3 slider & tender on point! Couldn't finish it, I used to grow Carolina ripper peppers so if you're not used to the heat don't try this! I took the challenge & felt like death was upon me! I recommend Dave's hot chicken for sure coming back!! On my visit to Salem, OR, my best friend and I decided to try Dave's Hot Chicken - as it had been a new-ish spot in town, she wanted to finally give a shot. I was so excited to try Dave's Hot Chicken after bingeing social media video reviews but was disappointed with what I found. I ordered the #3, the tender on bread and the sandwich, medium. I definitely should've ordered hot because the medium had no spice that I could tell. There was hardly any kale slaw, which seems like it might've added to the flavor profile. The chicken itself was fine but not amazing like people make it sound. And there was no satisfying crunch when I took a bite... not sure how they get that effect on... read more

Food was super hot and delicious! They loaded us up on fries too which was good. Server was polite and friendly the entire time.
