TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great staff!!!!! Extremely friendly and welcoming. Terrance was very patient with us as we had a pretty big order. The food speaks for itself, best chicken sandwich around.

My first time trying Dave's and I love it. I tried the mild, medium and hot chicken. They all had great flavor and were tender and juicy. The hot had some spice. I tried all there sides as well. Everything was great. You gotta love the art inside and out. I'll definitely be going back.
12:30 on a Saturday, ate inside, just missed the rush. friendly service and didn't wait too long. Got the 2 sliders HOT. The heat level was as expected but the amount of seasoning on that damn chicken was a little overboard, couldn't barely taste the chicken, must have ate a half a container of chili powder. But hey thats just me. good service, cool hip interior. worth a shot.

Customer service was good but there were at least 4-5 people behind the counter waiting to do something. But the young lady did help with the differences in heat levels. Inside artwork was creative and eye catching. Food was cooked well. Spices were overpowering and unexpected especially on the fries. Be sure to ask for an additional house sauce as only one is added to meal. I was not wowed with the overall meal. May be a one and done type of experience.
