TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Ate here for the first time, around 7pm on a Friday evening. Busy but didn't wait more than 5-10 mins. We each had the one slider and one strip with fries (one was cheese fries). We really liked the sliders. They are more like a full size chicken sandwich than what you would imagine a slider to be. We had medium heat which was nice and spicy but not painful spicy. Good hot chicken!! Hubby & I decided to grab lunch before Christmas shopping and we came here. We ordered at the counter & then found a seat and waited on our order. I got the 2 tender meal - medium spice. Hubby got the slider meal - hot spice. The tenders are huge and I probably would have been fine with one tender for lunch. The chicken & fries were really good. My meal came with slices of bread, pickles, and their special sauce. Good eating here. Definitely try them out.
The food is absolutely incredible and the chicken is extremely well seasoned. The sauce is delicious and the kale slaw on the sliders add a perfect crunchy and fresh texture to the sandwich. My only complaint is that it is very, very cold in here. It is almost unbearable
Great spot for lunch! Quick service and really friendly staff! I went with a coworker for a quick lunch. I ordered the #3 that came with one slider and one tender in Extra Hot. Perfect blend of spice and flavor. Next time I'm going for the Reaper, but I will probably have to wait until after work in case my body decides to rebel against me. Lol! Simply one of the best options in terms of chicken out there. I love the slider and tender combo. Kids love their Mac and cheese also!
Just ordered Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time. The chicken sandwich was ok, the mac and cheese is a joke! The fries were ok also.
I've been coming here a few times a month since they open. They are so consistently good. Great flavor, great service.
JoJo & Ely were so awesome helping us out with my brothers 16th birthday!! We love Dave's because everyone is always so happy to serve you and make sure you have everything you need! 10/10 will be coming back! Food is amazing as well!
