TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I enjoyed my meal at Dave's. It's a lot of what I like. Simple Menu. Fast. Good. Do a few things. Do them well. Feed people fast. Love it. I had the 2 Slider Meal with fries. To be honest this would make a reasonable meal for 2. The Sliders are really just pretty normal size sandwiches. The fries were just big enough to share. It would be 5 Stars if the pickles were "pickled" a bit more. I don't like my Pickles tasting like cucumber. Some folks love this style...just not for me. Super good! Tried the hot sliders and all I can say is that they are mmm mmm GGOOOOOOD!!!
I visited here last Thursday for the first time. I had the 2 piece tenders meal (mild) and added mac n cheese. The tenders were hot n fresh and the spice level was perfect, not too spicy but right on the cusp. Fries were good. Mac n cheese has several areas for improvement. It was runny and the noodles were overcooked. My toddler had their French fries and mac n cheese and barely ate any of it. Just bumped into this place by the hotel we were staying. Food was great and my son's loved it.
Been there a few times and we love it!! Fresh and made when ordered! Chicken haalal is extremely good we tried the spiciest and settled on the hot level. My daughter isn't a fan of spicy food but she sure loves the spicy fries from here! Price is very reasonable from 2 sliders and fries.
I love this place and I only have one issue. Why are they asking for a tip when you pay just to find that every table is dirty? I worked in the service industry for 10 long years and worked my a$$ of for 20%.
We've ordered takeout from here many times, and EVERYtime the food is delicious and fresh! Our favorite hot chicken restaurant in dfw!
This place is amazing. The spiciest chicken they have is spicy but also very flavorful. Definitely recommend the sliders with cheese. It's grand
