TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Love this place! Bryson helped us out and gave us a bunch of suggestions to make our experience better. Everything was so good and affordable. food came out quick. been to the california location and this tasted better.
Came here for the first time today & ordered a #2, 1 hot one extra hot. The food was great & the staff was very friendly. I can't wait to return and bring my husband back to try it with me next time.
I had high hopes, because a friend had told me that Dave's Hot Chicken was good, and my experience was not terrible, but I am not sure that I will be returning. First, the service was good. I placed an online order for pickup and I would have appreciated some visual signage for where to go. Food was pretty good. The fries were the best part! The sweet teas they served were kinda nasty.
Dave's hot chicken is my new favorite hot chicken place! Visited here while on a trip to Dallas and it was so good. The spices they use were the perfect combo of salty, sweet, and spicy! We got orders of the chicken sandwich (medium spice) and it came with crinkle fries, the best sauce, and pickles! I will definitely be visiting again when in Dallas or wherever they have one!
Crispy on the outside, deliciously juicy on the inside. I was a tad worried about 2 tenders for $14, but they are huge. I couldn't finish both sliders. Compared to other hot chicken places, they're not quite as spicy. I'd probably go extra hot next time. Fries are crispy and on point. Staff is super friendly. Friendlier than even the lord's chicken place. Enjoyable experience, delicious grub.

This place reminds me of Hattie B's. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Great taste! I love spicy food so I ordered hot (sandwich, tender) + one tender (extra hot). There's a HUGE difference in spice level. Hot taste more like medium... but the extra hot is spicy. The chicken goes perfectly with the pickles. The fries are nice and crispy.
