TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

There's an employee with gorgeous dreadlocks whose spirits fills the place with positivity. His aura transfers light to everyone he encounters, I'm sure. Great meal just like at their other location. Be sure to put some honey on the mild tenders to cut the spicy taste. Pieces are very large so we ate enough with fries and took plenty home. When traffic is heavy on Preston Rd it is time consuming and dangerous to approach from south to crossover in front of oncoming southbound traffic. Suggestion: take light at Headquarters and go left (west) on Headquarters Dr for about a block. Chicken was stale. Ordered through Uber eats so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Sort of underwhelming
Ordered take out for lunch. Two sliders, hot, fries, sauce. Order was correct, hot, and they included extra sauce. If you like Nashville chicken, Dave's is crushing it! When they say 'hot' they're being serious... it's hot! Fries were crispy, sauce was perfect. Feels just a little pricey, but nothing too concerning. Can't really ask for much more.
I got 2 tenders with fries. The chicken tastes really good, but it's also a little too salty. The fries are really crispy and delicious. The slider is just a chicken sandwich and it tastes alright. It's a lot of food.
This location has great customer service, nice artistry in the location, and great food.
Food was great, place was clean, and Bryson was very helpful. Will definitely be back.
We visited Dave's for the first time and had a great experience. We had no clue what to get but Bryson helped us navigate the menu. Can't wait to come back
I've heard and seen reviews on this place. I'm here on a business trip from Houston so I had the opportunity to stop in and try it. This place is ridiculous!!! Twas so freakin de-lic-ious, I talked my workers into going here also the ne t morning when we met up to go to work they raved about how good it was. If I weren't here for such a short amount of time I'd go back. It's definitely worth stopping in.
