I very disappointed with my service. Bad restaurant. Bad employees. Manager is very rude. Super slow . Dirty restroom. Food was cold . I was waiting for that bad satisfaction

Awesome food, great service, but I'm a little irritated about my last experience here. In the middle of the day, one of the workers decided it was time to time to do the all-important task of polishing the stainless steel doors and floorboards, spraying an aerosol can just 6 feet away from customers in the process of eating (and breathing). No regard for whatever chemicals were being put into the air and potentially landing on our food.

I've been wanting to try Dave's Hot Chicken from all of the internet hype and when I found myself in the Port Hueneme area I decided to give it a try. This is the only location they have in Ventura County at this time. I actually assumed it would be a busy line so I downloaded their app while at the beach and ordered ahead of time. When I arrived to the restaurant, it was modern and clean, but kind of empty. It is definitely not the most popular business in the shopping center. I did like their outdoor seating. I actually love the food here and my husband and I frequent it all the time. Which is why my sister got me a gift card for my birthday. When we tried to redeem it at this location of 4/28 around 7pm, the girl working the counter told my husband that it's not working and that something must be wrong with their system right now. She told us to just use it on our app next time. We said okay, and proceeded to pay the full amount. Came in again and paid for extra slaw again and got this still.... I guess I gotta pay for a side of slaw but like I don't understand does this happen cuz I come on days you don't have a lot prepped? This is not extra slaw this is really bare minimum.
