TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I actually love the food here and my husband and I frequent it all the time. Which is why my sister got me a gift card for my birthday. When we tried to redeem it at this location of 4/28 around 7pm, the girl working the counter told my husband that it's not working and that something must be wrong with their system right now. Came in again and paid for extra slaw again and got this still.... I guess I gotta pay for a side of slaw but like I don't understand does this happen cuz I come on days you don't have a lot prepped? This is not extra slaw this is really bare minimum.

Did not like the chicken no crunch just not my cup of tea. And way to expensive spent 60.00 for 4 dinners and no drinks . Please note the service was wonderful!!!!!!!!! I will not be going back

I have now tried this place twice. Both were similar in experience. The staff is friendly and the location is clean... even the bathrooms which at other locations is sometimes overlooked. This review and rating is based solely on the quality of the food. The first time I tried it I chose medium heat... too much for me to be honest but I have a friend who thought it was week.
