TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My husband Dave and I stopped in for a quick lunch. Had to try his namesakes hot chicken right? The place was very clean and lots of people eating lunch. Fun artwork on the walls. We had the #2 and #3. I got mild spice and my husband got regular. My Dave said it could be spicier so he will step it up next time! The sliders were excellent!! Eaten here a few times and wanted to say I highly recommend this location in Port Hueneme. It was clear to see employees were working hard and very respectful. Shoutout to the two that helped us, Jacob and Jasmine.

Was in the area and decided I should be a fatty and have fried chicken sandwiches. I ordered the number two which is two sliders with fries. One hot, one extra hot with cheese. They both had great flavor! They were spicy! I wouldn't dare try the reaper. The fries are seasoned well. The meal comes with a dipping sauce that's sorta cheesy and good. Staff was friendly and the location was clean. Definitely recommend

I had come in to pick up an order that I had placed through the app. This was only my second time ordering from here, so I had assumed that everything in the order would be correct, but as soon as I got back home I noticed that not only did they forget to include the Mac and cheese I paid extra for, but they also did not include any of the dips. Friendly cashier so no issue with that. However, I ordered my food to go yet my chicken wasn't even lukewarm! My fries were lukewarm which is unacceptable because I was made to wait for my order since they had to get my chicken ready. Mind you, they had only 3 people who ordered before me and nobody else was there.
