With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Don't forget the name Ojinga! Got here late on a Sunday. Ojinga, the manager, was ready to greet us and give us a full rundown as new customers. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our slidrers and fries meal. Sliders came out fresh, hot, and tender. The sauce was alright. The experience was made memorable by Ojinga.
We wanted stuff to eat after the UH game and we stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a shot. At first glance, it seemed promising. The lady who took our order didn't particularly seem like she wanted to be there but she was cordial. Food came out quickly and it was pretty good. The fries were especially good. The chicken was rather unremarkable though. All in all, it's chicken and fries. Pretty hard to mess up.
Dave's hot chicken gives that spice you want with your chicken! They have great sides to go along with it. The customer service is awesome the manager is so nice and his energy is everything. He's always in a good mood! We love to go there and be makes it even more better. Keep up the good work!!!

First stop here. The food was hot and fresh. The place was kinda messy but it appears that they only had 2 people working there so there was no time for them to clean up. The menu is simple but they get very busy when the other restaurants close. I think they should help out their staff with another person. Kinda felt sorry for them but they kept moving.
Dave's hot chicken: The slaw + pickles is rly good also the spices they add are solid. I sorta like the crispy part of something Gus's chicken a lil more so that's the only thing I didn't love. If you put honey with the spicy chicken it's also a fantastic combo . Def worth a try, but make sure to ask for the honey. The chicken is cooked well with less crunch.
Great and super tasty fries and chicken. Service was good and acknowledged me right away. A must try amd can't wait to try Reaper
This chicken is probably best in the business for this type! I had the sliders at the hot level and they delivered a nice kick!!
Dave's hot chicken is definitely a must try! Their chicken sliders are my personal favorite but the chicken overall is delicious. Now if you are looking to stretch the dollar this might not be the place considering the price compared to the quantity but it's certainly worth the try.
