TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The tenders are larger than I was expecting. I got the hot heat and it was pretty good. A lot of hot chicken places mislabel the heat levels. Orders were taken quickly and I got a free milkshake for checking in on Yelp. The vibe was cool too. I liked the lighting and the paintings on the wall were visually appealing.
While the interior design and layout of the restaurant was fun, I was a little disappointed in the quality of the chicken for the price. This is by far one of the most expensive hot chicken restaurants I've been to. The flavor was not bad, but the breading kept falling off my chicken. The best part of the meal was their mac n cheese.
First time stopping by Dave's. Holy smokes this chicken was amazing. Had the hot tenders and the spices we're phenomenal. Great crispy chicken and the fries were top notch crinkle style.
Love this place. My fave new chicken spot. Quraniece was a great server. She was super friendly and very informative. Great music playing in the background.
wasn't bad, just really powdery, was better with the sauce but not by much.. the fries were good though :)
The management corrected the situation and I'm satisfied. Customer service aside, The food is delicious, I'll be back
I thought this place was great. The food came out quick and was delicious. My little one even loves the spice. Service was good and ambiance was very relaxed but comfortable.
This is some of the best spicy chicken I have had. Great location across from insomnia cookies. The staff and Management gave great quality service. The chicken sliders where so fresh and delicious and the shakes were good too! Definitely check them out if your in the rice village area!
My daughter and I tried this place for the first time today, and we were definitely satisfied. Our food was made fresh! We both had the #3 chicken slider with the chicken tender. Let me tell you, the chicken was not just spicy hot, it was flavor-ful, juicy, and crispy. The kale slaw was deliciousious, and paired well with my medium hot tender slider.
