I'm starting to wonder if the spicy level is dependent on who's cooking the day of. We went a few times and usually the food comes out pretty fast, and if you're a rice university student you get a small discount. What we ordered * Dave's #3 1 tender + 1 slider w/ fries -- really great fries, crispy and well seasoned! * single slider - so I've tried hot, extra hot, and reaper. As someone who loves buldak ramen, I would say extra hot is a little spicier than buldak, and if you order reaper, they'll ask you to sign a waiver. ... read more

The place is filled with staff that greet you and also hardworking when I came with my friends. It's been quite a while since coming down kirby dr. I live near the opposite side and i will definitely come back here more often
Been wanting to try this place for a while now. And finally decided to do it. Parking is free for 2 hours in a garage on the other side of Rice Village on Morningside Dr just south of Times Blvd. But a bit of a walk. It was nice outside though so I didn't mind. Seemed to get a lot of rice students and they give a discount to them (15% I believe). Do a checkin on Yelp and you'll get a free soda or shake. Went for the chocolate shake. Did enjoy eating here. Cute interior, though a bit crowded. Not the fault of the servers, who were great :). Came to this location because the other was packed, so tbh i cannot complain too much. Recommend !

Great chicken and the spice delivered! Came by right after work for a meal that would warm me up on a cooler night this Fall, and was pleasantly surprised. Tenders are on the larger size compared to average. Slider with pickles, Dave's sauce, and a tender inside. The chicken itself was incredibly juicy and tender. Deep fried of course, but felt light. Goated! Best fried chicken in Rice Village. I always order the number 2, it's the best.
this location has very fast service!! not too busy, and food is great as always:) definitely recommend!!
