TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Finally made it to Dave's. I got the "Reaper" chicken tenders, signed the waiver and was sooooo disappointed at the lack of heat!! I was looking forward to a good burn. Buffalo Wild Wings "BLAZIN" is hotter than their reaper. The waiver is just a scare tactic. However the chicken and sauce are pretty good. Hopefully they'll come up with a hotter reaper!
Came here on a Saturday night and it was relatively empty. We ordered the #2 (~$14) which came w two sliders and fries. The order took 30 mins to finish even though it was sparse. The slider was kind of small but the chicken was super flavorful and the tart pickle cut it well. I do think the sliders were pricey given the size, but I was pretty full afterwards. The crinkle cut fries were really good, salted perfectly and stands well on their own.
Food was delicious! Wait time was horrible but that's expected with good food. I wouldn't take it to go as it's fresh fresh, ours got soggy on the way home from the steam. Definitely added to our list of go to places

Food is always amazing, but we had lunch there today and Ojinga was the employee working in the front - quite possibly the nicest guy ever. So helpful, attentive, and was so friendly. Loved our experience today more than usual because of him.

First time we tried it was in LA and was really excited that they were opening some in Houston.
We went during their grand opening and got A LOT of food. It was good and definitely hot! Get yourself a milkshake the combat the heat! Staff was efficient and friendly. Ample parking.
Everyone was super nice is the establishment, and the food was excellent. My family and I had a great time. We will definitely be back.
