TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great service and amazing food! This is my too go place all the time after an exam. Get the number two, the portions are perfectly fine and you will be very full. Also, the milkshake? Spectacular, 5 stars
The food is amazing with many spice levels. I love the shakes too. They put rubber drops on the chairs so it isn't as loud anymore when you move them. The employees were also very helpful.
Everything about my previous review still stands, but I have to bump the 4 star rating up to a 5 since my recent order of 1 slider and 1 tender + fries came in a satisfactory portion size. Also, check in on Yelp to get a free shake!

Dave's hot chicken has such a good balance of spice and flavor to me. I order the hot and I think it is the perfect amount of spice that I am looking for when I want hot chicken. I usually order the 1 slider meal, which is a perfect portion. At the counter, I ask for honey packets. The honey drizzled on top of the tender adds a little sweetness to balance out the spice and it is just chef's kiss.
