TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Best food in rice village Friendly staff and delicious pickles, better than canes too
Had Dave's Hot Chicken in Houston last week and I'm already planning my next visit. The service was impressively fast, and the food lived up to the hype. I ordered the chicken tenders and a sandwich -- both were spot on. The tenders had a perfect spicy kick and were cooked just right -- juicy on the inside with that crispy, flavorful coating on the outside. Super crispy, juicy chicken with bold flavors and customizable heat levels. The sliders are stacked and the fries hit the spot. Quick service, good vibes, and definitely addictive.

Food was good but service was slow. We waited a little over 15 minutes for an order of two #1's. There was only one other table of 4 that had also been waiting for quite some time. The cashier needs to learn how to multitask because our food sat on the line while he kept taking orders of people walking in. Instead, he should have politely excused himself to call our ticket instead of just letting it sit there.
