I went there on the opening day. I was expecting a big line but was surprised things were moving quick. Within 15 minutes from stepping from car to getting my food i was ready to grub on. I got #3 combo which was a tender, sandwich and fries which was 12.99 plus got a small drink extra as not included in combo. Total was around 15 bucks or so.. -- parking is easy and abundant -- the staff at the register can be a little bit slow but not a big deal since the line doesn't get too long -- the chicken sliders keep us coming back - delicious and crunchy chicken (we find medium to be the sweet spot on the spice level), delicious kale slaw, pickles inside. I finally got here to try it. I went for lunch. First impression: The "menu" board was not very clear (they need a bigger/better, electronic one with clear options). As many stated, you only see two combo options. I asked the counter guy if the sliders were small and he said no, they were big, so I asked if I could just get one, and he said yes. Fast Service... ordered online and the food was ready much faster than anticipated. Staff was friendly and helpful checking on my order, and the sliders were phenomenal worth the stop in!! Keep up the great work!!

I got a mild single slider and thought the fried chicken was great. The chicken was juicy and the honey made it a great sandwich. One thing to note is the spice levels here are muted - the mild was not spicy at all and I tried a bite of my friends Hot and it was still not very spicy. If you're looking for spicy hot, go for the highest option.

This restaurant started out great when they first opened, but the service and quality have slipped a bit since the opening. I ordered a slider and a side of fries. I placed the order at 6:15 PM and was told the order would be ready at 6:45 PM. I arrived at 6:35 PM and the food was already done. I ate out front outside and the food was already cold, especially the fries. Additionally, I asked for ketchup on the order and got honey instead. I also asked for cutlery and none was included. This is fast food, don't expect a Bertuccis, but for what this is, it is great quick tasty food when you want some chicken, fries and maybe some spice, depending what you order. I got Dave's #1 (2 tenders w/fries and I was pleasantly satisfied with my choice. Chicken was crispy, fries were not soggy and the sauce had some nice kick to it. I would not eat at Dave's every day/week, but it is a good faster food option in Newton, which needed this.

chicken is juicy, skin is crispy. the fries were IMMACULATE, would go again when i get my paycheck. also i love the variety of spice levels.
