Dave's Hot Chicken... my question dear Dave, Arman, Tommy, and Gary, is... was it your intention to fill my $3.49 8 ounce paper bowl only about halfway with your decently tasting, sufficiently creamy, side order of mac & cheese? Cause, if it was, you've succeeded. However, according to the one in the blue box, 1 cup prepared = 350 calories. Your menu board states that your side rings up at 290 calories. Exactly what I needed, and what this neighborhood needs. No frills: fried, Nashville style hot chicken. No, I won't be coming here every week and it won't be part of my diet staple, but guess what: if it comes down to driving a couple miles or going to Nashville, thank you Dave! Dave's Hot Chicken where do I start. I traveled all the way from New York to Massachusetts to try the famous Dave's Hot Chicken. There is one that recently opened up here in New York City but it is impossible for me to get in because the lines are always wrapped around the block. Totally worth the drive to come here. The chicken sliders had to of been the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I ordered the very hot and reaper chicken sliders. They were delicious and had their own unique taste. My tolerance for spicy food is higher than average. So it surprised me when the reaper chicken actually had a decent spice to it. I ordered uber delivery twice from here. The chicken is so frikin good (,: I tried mild the first time and it wasn't that spicy so I went with medium the second time and it was perfect. The mac n cheese was pretty good, and the fries were just okay. Still giving 5 stars because the chicken was just that good. (:
Simple menu, great flavor, juicy and I'll be back. Bread could be elevated to a pretzel roll or toasted French roll. The bread was a ball drop by creators. 4 and a half stars.
I got the single tender mild (which was not spicy at all) which came on a loaf of bread and pickles with a side of sauce. And can I tell you, it was incredible! The chicken was nice and hot, crispy and crunchy skin. The chicken was juicy and tender inside. Pairing the bread, chicken, pickle, sauce all together, chefs kiss! I highly recommend getting chicken from here! I am totally coming back here again

I went there on the opening day. I was expecting a big line but was surprised things were moving quick. Within 15 minutes from stepping from car to getting my food i was ready to grub on. I got #3 combo which was a tender, sandwich and fries which was 12.99 plus got a small drink extra as not included in combo. Total was around 15 bucks or so..
